Since the first day Martin Bernard came to visit our place to assess the scale of our brick wall project and take the necessary measurements which would enable him to give us a quote, I got a sense of professionalism and reliability with the very pleasant addition of friendly and approachable manners. Having previously received visits by other builders who then either never send us a quote as agreed or almost impossible to reach over the phone, within ours from his first visit it was already crystal clear that Martin did not belong to that category of traders. The fairly long brick wall my partner and I needed to be done to extend our garden, required custom-made bricks because of their particular colour to match the neighbouring walls. Martin surprised me when only two days later, after seeking a source for said bricks amongst all of his many contacts, came back to my place and as nobody was at home, he kindly left a brick sample which almost perfectly matched what we were looking for. Not having been able to talk to us regarding the sample he left, he then sent me a text with a very detailed explanation of how he sourced it, the time it would take to produce the amount we required for the whole project, costs etc... At this point, it became clearer and clearer that Martin was one of the most reliable people I have ever met in recent years and this goes beyond the trade aspect. The accuracy of his quotes, avilability over the phone, the promptness in returning calls, his advice and suggestions made it clear this young professional has got experience beyond his years. I will not detail step by step what happened throughout the whole project, however, I want to say that thanks to Martin and his team, really professional people also, my partner and I are now enjoying a fantastically-built new solid wall in our garden that we have been planning to have done for so long. Needless to say, we will use Martin and his team times and times again in the future as his reliability and work practices will be almost impossible to beat. Lastly but equally important, although these guys specialise in groundworks, bricklaying etc... Martin has a healthy network of different trades like electricians, roofers, joiners etc.... meaning that they are able to undertake most tasks.
