The property needs refurbishment (not too much) but is very well located if you are a health lover, this place works great if like yoga, tennis playing, bring children, picnics and so forward, definitely worths the detour come and support this family business, you will have the dedicated attention you need, it's a shame that local government doesn't support this area on what could be the largest health center within the UK, come you won't regret it

Staff are quite Pleasant and ensure that I was in one of the newer rooms as I was saying mid week and it was quiet. The rooms are very old with most of the bathroom have being renovated to a High modern standard, however the bedroom areas need to be worked on more.
I was disappointed that it didn't have full room service however I understand it's not that type of hotel and it does state in the book that the staff can make you certain food up until a certain time, but I felt uncomfortable asking anybody what was on the menu so I ended up getting a takeaway.
The grounds that the hotel sits on is beautiful and you wouldn't expect it to be there as well as there is a small tea shop next to reception which looks lovely in the summer.
I will be staying again as it's good value for money and in an easy to reach location however I hope over time that they renovate the renovate the bedrooms further

I just love this place it's tucked up out of the way . The staff are pleasant cannot do enough for you. Even tho it shows signs of decay it's well worth the money to stay.

Has beautiful garden so in summer you could take a walk round it also has a park so if you have kids they would enjoy it. Also has a tea room for a hot drink or a bite to eat.
