I made a booking but unfortunately needed to cancel due to my partner passing away, and I no longer required the booking. Due to the date I would have got charged, although the lovely lady on the phone managed to deal with this with no charge to myself . Stayed here overnight as husband had an early flight next morning and we were not disappointed. Very small rooms but beautifully appointed. The bed is folded away in the wall to allow more room and a settee until bed time. Thought the bed would be uncomfortable as these kind of things often are but I was pleasantly surprised. It was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. All the public areas of the hotel were clean, comfortable and the decor is lovely. Service was fantastic and staff were friendly and accommodating, with nothing too much trouble. Only problem was finding a parking space as they are limited and there was works going on in part of the car park. However we found somewhere and it really didn't detract from the overall great experience of our stay. Highly recommend and we have stayed in a few places in Luton as frequent fliers but we will only stay here again. More...

So tired after a long drive, I couldn't get a room at short notice in the Holiday Inn before my mid-morning flight from Luton, and someone recommended this. It took a bit of finding, but what a lovely surprise: somewhere to park, very friendly service, a very clean, comfortable room, a very nice late light supper which I think they made specially, and just the right kind of breakfast (for me, big on good Italian coffee, not too much stodge) - altogether memorable. This hotel is superb and its biggest asset is its super friendly and highly efficient staff. ||||We stayed recently following my mums funeral also held at the Linton and I have to thanks Alex, Patrick and the rest of the team for such a wonderful stay. ||||They were so friendly and the food provided was top quality. The bar is well stocked with an excellent range of wines and spirits but I'm sure the range was smaller the morning after we stayed.||||Rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast in the morning was very very good and set us up for the day.||||My auntie and cousin stayed here for 4 days and had nothing but praise for the staff and service.||||This hotel is probably the best in Luton and that is down to its staff. Public areas very clean and pleasant. Rooms very compact with beds that fold into the wall. But had a good night sleep. Bathroom too small. Toilet position between wall and shower was too small and did not allow you to sit upright. Great breakfast but evening meal was not so good (ok but not good). Only stayed one night and on my own. Would not want to stay for longer than that at a time and I think two people in the room would be a real squeeze. More...

We had a beautiful room to our selves . Staff excellent nothing too much trouble .||My roast was top nosh but the fish and chips was soggy and had french fries you don’t have french fries with fish. ||Starters superb ||Pudding a huge let down for the price ||I had cheese cake and it was a cheap one from Iceland and the chocolate brownie was hard and cold . ||My first visit was surprised how beautiful it was inside .||Will defo go again but order different . On arriving for a 5 nights stay on doggy style business I parked my car and made my way into reception and was greated by a very pleasant gentleman on a Sunday afternoon who carried my case for me to Room 14. Cracking start. On entering the bedroom which was well appointed and extremely clean I was intrigued by the Murphy bed - we poochies are only used to conventional baskets for our paws. The gentleman very kindly lowered the bed for me and reassured me it would not be a comedy moment by becoming ensnared between the bed and the wall should the bed not choose to stay down! The pooch was reassured and tested said bed which was amazingly comfortable - happy pup. I discovered that the handle on the wall adjacent to the toilet is a bidet facility which was an interesting feature for a pup and not expected, nice touch. Breakfast was very cordial and the food is of a high standard and fresh (I had the continental) but watched the full English being served and it appears to be cooked to order so all good a dog thought. After a weary day at work I decided to venture into the restaurant in the evening (normally dogs aren't allowed in these areas but they made an exception for this one). Wonderful menu and not excessive on price given the location. I tried a variety of dishes throughout the week, all of which were of a high standard and clearly cooked fresh by the chef, rather than by Chef Mike (the microwave). The staff were professional yet friendly and as a dog was travelling alone, they made the pup feel welcome and tolerated the pup wanting to yap at them whenever I saw them in an enthusiastic manner - think you humans call it conversation Anyway, am pleased to say that as I write this, I have returned for another stay and just checked in again and I am sure I won't be disappointed. The WiFi was good, the people are nice and helpful and the food was really good. One of the best breakfasts I have had. There's also plenty of parking and it has a gym and spa, although I haven't looked or tried it yet..
