I have had the privilege of learning language at some of the top academic institutions in England (St Paul’s & UCL), institutions which pride themselves on both the academic and personal quality of their professors, but I have learned far more linguistically from Julia—and in far less time—than I did during my many years at those other institutions.

Julia is a perspicacious teacher; she has a keen eye for your strengths and weaknesses, and the intellectual empathy to adapt to your problems. As a student, I am at times recalcitrant—and always inquisitive—but Julia, beyond merely taking my questions in her stride, pounces on every opportunity to expand my knowledge and revels in so doing. I have been taking classes to improve my French and Spanish with Learn&Co for the past year and I have to say I’m loving it. I’m impressed with the quality and structure of the lessons. I feel like I’m making great progress. A few months after I started taking French classes, I was quickly able to apply what I learnt during our lesson and hold my first meeting with investors completely in French, something I was extremely proud of. As for my Spanish, I couldn’t recommend Learn&Co’s tutor more. She’s helped me gain confidence again, and develop further the foundations I already had.

Travelling to France and Spain for business meetings is now a completely different experience. It’s proven to reap much faster results with our clients and investors and it wouldn’t have been possible without my amazing tutors. More...

What can I say? Rosie is an amazing teacher! Not only is she friendly and understanding, but she always tries her best to help me improve myself.
