Kashiwa Dojo JKR-UK High Wycombe embraces Shindo Jinen Ryu, a traditional form of Japanese karate.
JKR (Japan Karate Do Ryobu-Kai) international is headed by Kaicho Kiyoshi Yamazaki.
JKR-UK's chief instructor is Simon Oliver Sensei.
JAPAN KARATE DO RYOBU-KAI (JKR) is a professional, international, karate organization founded by Yasuhiro Konishi, and developed by his son, Yasuhiro (Takehiro) Konishi, 10th Dan.

Sensei Phil is incredibly experienced and supportive to new students, to the extent I’ve recently started joining training after my son enjoyed his karate so much. I’ve never had any martial arts experience but have been made very welcome at Kashiwa Dojo (even as an unfit 39 year old!). Additionally, more experienced students in the class (including Sensei Phil’s family) help ensure that both new, intermediate and life-long students can interact and benefit from training together.
