Q&As

These are what Building regs need for garage conversions
-Be structurally sound.
-Have a damp-proof course.
-Include wall, floor and loft insulation so it is energy efficient.
-Have had all electrics safety tested.
-Be moisture proofed, with good ventilation.
-Have been fire-proofed and have escape routes.

-Making sure the walls and roof are sound
-Floor slab – the existing floor may need to be levelled, damp-proofed and -insulated.
-Infilling the door – Most garage -conversions simply brick up the garage door.
-Wall insulation.
-Roof insulation.
-Windows & doors.

As a general rule, 2.2m from floor to ceiling at its highest point is the threshold for undertaking a loft conversion. If your loft does not meet this requirement, it's highly unlikely you'll be able to raise your pitch roof, but are ways round it like lowing the ceiling hight on the floor below too gain head hight for loft

-The roof space is inspected for suitability. ...
-An architect or surveyor will confirm suitability and create plans. ...
-The loft is cleared and prepped and stripped
-floor steels (if needed)
-New floor joists fitted. ...
-Floors are insulated. ...
-Floorboards laid. ...
-New roof and domer pitched
-Tiled
-first fix pluming/sparks
-plaster boards and plaster
-second fix

Iam 40 years old, been doing same thing since leaving school. Started with garden rooms and garage conversion then stsrted getting bigger projects likes lofts

We give all our projects guarantees, tend too say were cover it fir life depending on what the issue is, if there happens too be cracks in plaster due too moving then yes we would cover it, but if something like resly bad wether and you lose a couple of roof tiles were help you out the best we can but maybe be a small cost again depending on issue

All the work we tend too taken on now seems too be long projects (like 3-5 weeks) in that time you get too know the customers in that time.

Just always wanted too work for my self realy, got my own idears too put forward and i like too work my own way and have my team do the same

Like too think me and my team are clean and tidy one of the main comments i hear from customers. I also take great pride in my work and my lads.
Were all very friendly and trustworthy. I make sure me and the lads are well presented and know too respect the customers. Were all non smokers. I make sure we have only one project running at a time meaning we dont have days away from jobs

I can talk to customer via email or phone calls, texts and whatsapp. But do find face too face works best on site

We work with customers too suit there needs or requests
