I’m pleased to recommend Jack!

Jack was part of a team employed led by another builder that we contracted to do a significant extension to our house and a garden re-landscaping. Jack was effectively the daily onsite “foreman" and go-to person for the revolving door of trades you get through the duration of the build.

He worked for us through a bitter winter and into a very wet spring and showed real commitment and attention to detail, day in day out.

He was always keen to maximise the quality and aesthetic elements of the build and would often make suggestions on how to improve on the architects designs and, embarrassingly often, our ideas! He was also robust if there was any chance of the quality of others falling short and would take the necessary steps to address it.

Due to time pressure, there were days when there were up to 15 tradesmen on site and Jack was instrumental in pushing through the work in priority order.

He was always diligent, courteous, honest and fiercely hard working. As with any build, things go wrong, and often Jack would step up to address them, taking on a bigger role than was expected of him, but always supporting the team and the customer.

The landscaping went significantly over time due to the weather and, in honesty, I really felt for Jack and the team as the work became miserable and relentless through winter rain and storms. But, he stuck it out and the result is stunning and we’re forever grateful.

It’s my strongest suggestion that you engage with Jack in partnership, he looked after us, and we looked after him (our deliveroo and tea/coffee bill was every bit as high as the quality of what Jack and the team delivered but it was worth it).

In summary, I’ve had some bitterly disappointing experiences with builders in the past and, initially, I wasn’t minded to think any different of the team that landed onsite at our house, but it didn’t take long for Jack and the rest of the team to change my mind.

Jack and his team recently worked with us on the front renovation of our Grade II listed townhouse in Bath. We had a new garage constructed and regeneration of a tired looking front patio. The end result was amazing. We have had numerous compliments about how great it now looks and from a functional perspective we couldn’t be happier.
