A thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Nuanchan doesn't like to go softly which suits me down to the ground. I will definitely be back very soon. If you want a good deep massage then this is the lady to visit. I recommend her all day long. 5* More...

I met Nuanchan at Saltaire Holistic Fair this year and have had two massages with her so far. The first was a 30 minute massage where we discovered how woefully solid and neglected my entire body of muscles is. So my second massage was a full 90 minute, which treated my whole body & pinpointed problem areas (that I hadn't even realised were muscle related). It felt like a full MOT and service for my body. After a bad dislocation, i went to see Jay for a recuperative injury massage. She blended a few types of massage and stretches together to give me the best results and pretty much turned me inside out. Within minutes of her finishing i felt stronger and more flexible. As a result my exercises were better and stronger and i recovered much quicker. The physio had to check with me which shoulder i had dislocated! My only complaint is that two hours just flew by, i could have stayed all day. Felt like a good workout, stretching and a massage all rolled into one. Thank you. More...

I had a head and shoulders massage when Nuanchan and her team exhibited at Saltaire Holistic Health Fair. The strength they all have in their technique is amazing and my extremel tense shoulder and neck muscles benefited greatly, even from a 10 minute massage. I'm planning and looking forwards to future treatments as I work through my busy summer schedule. More...

Traditional Thai massage
Is an ancient healing system combining acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures. The founding father of Thai massage was an Ayurvedic doctor named Jivaka Kumar Bhacca, who is revered still in Thailand as the “father of medicine”. Born in India during the time of the Buddha, he is noted in ancient documents for his extraordinary medical skills, his knowledge of herbal medicine, and for having treated important people of his day, including the Buddha himself.
Traditional Thai massage uses no oils or lotions. The recipient remains clothed during a treatment. There is constant body contact between the giver and receiver, but rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked.
The recipient of the massage wears loose, comfortable clothing and lies on a mat or firm mattress on the floor. In Thailand the massage is often given to a group of a dozen or so subjects receiving massage simultaneously in the same large room. The true ancient style of the massage requires that the massage be performed solo with just the giver and receiver. The receiver will be positioned in a variety of yoga-like positions during the course of the massage, that are also combined with deep static and rhythmic pressures.
The massage generally follows designated lines (“sen”) in the body. The legs and feet of the giver can be used to position the body or limbs of the recipient. In other positions, hands fix the body, while the feet do the massaging. A full Thai massage session typically lasts two hours or more, and includes rhythmic pressing and stretching of the entire body. This may include pulling fingers, toes, ears, cracking knuckles, walking on the recipient’s back, and moving the recipient’s body into many different positions. There is a standard procedure and rhythm to the massage, which the giver will adjust to fit the receiver
