What do you love most about your job?
Hard work and good ethics were instilled in me from a young age, and I was always interested in people. I did an undergraduate in business marketing and went travelling for a year and realised HR was where my passion lied and I did a postgraduate in HRM, that was 17 years ago now I truly did find my passion and I have been in HR ever since. Prior to moving to London 10 years ago, my work experience was in hospitality for 6 years and then food manufacturing for 4 years and when I moved, I worked in Kingston University Services company up until last July when I launched my business as an outsourced HR provider.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I got involved because I wanted to provide personal, and expert HR and employment law advice to SME businesses. I know HR can be tricky and complex and not everyone is a natural people manager so there is nothing I love more than to provide sound HR support to SMEs.
Why should our clients choose you?
We see ourselves as part of the team. We’re always professional, but we’re friendly too. We’re practical and pragmatic and we talk in plain English. We are our clients’ HR Department, and this is fed back to us again and again. Our aim is for long term relationships with our clients.
