lovely staff and very attentive but really disappointed with the Sunday roast as it was recommended to us but the roast potatoes was very small and very burnt, the turkey had an unusual taste so didn't eat it and the veg was very bland so don't think we will be having the roast again but not to say we wouldn't try other options

The place has really gone down hill unfortunately, not sure if it's a change of ownership. Food was below average. Couldn't decide between arribiata and ratatouille, so luckily for us the dish came as a mix of both! The staff were nice, but service appalling, didn't get asked if we wanted a drink whilst there for 2 hours, and generally just ignored, had to walk across to the waiting staff if we wanted something. We booked a surprise 40th paid the deposit and halfway house let us down a week before the party, said they had double booked, this wasn't another party but a band in the bar area. Terrible customer service; the manager was awful to us on the telephone. Wont be going in again. We found a lovely alternative at the RAFA club in Leyland, the manager couldn't do enough for us and at such short notice. More...
