Exceptional serviceTwo curtains altered, and they were done beautifully. We really wanted them done before Christmas and they fitted us in, despite the short notice. Had a problem with the length; they were too short, so we called them the next day and they sorted it in a single day, just a week before Christmas with so their other work. Made us feel really taken care of when we dropped them off again and picked them up. Really good customer service and staff, my Mother in Law dropped the curtains off and still talks about how lovely the staff were. Amazing!! I bought my wedding dress in April for my wedding in October.... during that time I had lost 2 stone and gone down nearly 2 dress sizes. ... for a long time I was debating who to trust to alter my dress as there was a lot of alterations needed ( about a foot altered at the bottom, without losing the intricate lace or any of the large train! The lace upper shoulder detail completely realigned , pulled it at sides and a diamanté piece attached) I decided to take a risk after reading reviews and so glad I did! From the first fitting felt so at ease and by the second fitting reassured and in love with my dress.... having a third fitting I felt overjoyed with the outcome..... you do not rush, make me feel comfortable and so friendly I cannot thank you enough for making my memories of my wedding day perfect!! What can I say? ...... Amazing, brilliant, awesome, I could go on and on but the best advise I can give is try them for yourself. I had a suit that due to medical issues was at least 4 sizes to large, on recommendation I went to see if anything could be done and low and behold they re-tailored it to fit perfectly. the quality of work is excellent, the pricing structure is inexpensive given the finished product. This professional tailor works magic! He saved my daughter’s wedding dress which had been badly changed by someone else, and then he rectified my own Mother of the Bride outfit. These guys are the BEST adjustment tailors in all of Birmingham if not all of the UK! I took in a designer dress that I had shipped in from the US that was need to be made a bit bigger for better drape! I was so worried that it would be impossible because how do you make a dress bigger ! But these guys did it and you would never have guessed it. They even had to make some quick adjustments on the day I picked up just to make it perfect and they were completely patient with me. The dress turned out perfect. ONE ABSOLUTE HAPPY CUSTOMER FROM ME! ALL I CAN SAY IS A ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT SERVICE FROM START TO FINISH!THE WORK THAT WAS CARRIED OUT ON MY DAUGHTERS PROM DRESS WAS PERFECT NO FAULTS! ! MY DAUGHTER 16 YEARS OLD AND IS A PLUS SIZE AND DOSE NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE. THEY MADE HER FEEL SO COMFORTABLE AND GORGEOUS ABOUT HERSELF THAT SHE SOON BECOME A EASE. I brought a dress for £1800 it was a very detailed heavily beaded dress and I needed alterations of taking in a dress size in shortening the length and also adding sleeves I contacted several places who could not do it then I was recommended by an old friend who told me she had her wedding dress altered at h&n with perfect finish. I spoke to Laura and her husband brought the dress in and they did an absolutely fabulous job to the point were you could not see any alterations. My dress fit like a glove. Wedding dressI had a very expensive wedding dress and needed alterations I took it to an exclusive tailors shop in Birmingham city centre I was assured they would do my alterations to my dress with perfect finish they charged me £300 for the work when I went for a fitting the dress did not look anything like how it had been originally they had butchered it literally I was so angry as they would not give me any refund and had ruined my dress then a friend of mine told me about a shop on high street erdington were she had had her wedding dress altered and it was perfect so I decided to take it there and speak to the tailor immediately I felt confident he told me he could fix the mess they had made and also adjust it accordingly well to cut a long story short my dress was perfect so pleased I am now using them regular for suit alterations and plenty more. I was recommended to ‘H&N alterations’ by another bridal shop. When I entered I was greeted by the shop owners. The lady helped me with getting the dress on and explaining, in her opinion, what should be done, it was spot on! As I was in a rush with the wedding around the corner, the shop owners explained that they would do it straight away!They fitted both the hem and bodice in one sitting! Absolutely amazing! After many tries with other wedding services who claim they couldn’t alter my fiancé’s wedding dress, me and my fiancé went into ‘H and N alterations’ for the first time to get her wedding dress altered. The lovely lady helped her get the dress on, stayed with us for around 25/30 minutes telling us all of the steps the shop owner (Nemat) would do to help us. Amazing service.When we returned to pick up the dress, it looked great, everything they said they would do on the dress, they did.
