Very easy website to use. I signed up and logged in, uploaded my own photos and I was listed on Rightmove and Zoopla in about an hour. Easy to set up and was on the major internet sites within an hour. The messaging system was generally good, but not all alerts came through for viewings etc. Out of hours telephonist said they would call back, but this didn't happen. When I called on Monday the adviser was friendly and helpful. My buyer was initially unable to insert her offer using her phone app, but this was sorted when she used her pc. For us, being retired and both available in the day, we wanted an agent who would put our property on Right Move and Zoopla, pass on viewing requests and bids. Nothing more.We were happy to conduct viewings ourselves, write our own description and provide our own photographs (my son takes photos professionally!) I even produced my own floorplan, and we already had an EPC.Griffin's flexible charging meant a rock bottom upfront fee for us yet a very professional service. And they are always on the end of the phone without me being passed from pillar to post.All the above can be chosen as add-ons to the Gold package which starts at £225. The only add-on we chose was a sign at £50.The first viewing request came within an hour of the listing, and we have had eight in total within 10 days. No sale yet, but hopefully soon.Griffin would not suit those who want conducted viewings, which are not on offer, but for us they were ideal.Having just sold my late mother-in-law's house and paid £3900 in agent's fees, we felt sure we could do most of the work ourselves in selling our own home.We could not have done this for the mother-in-law's house, as it is 65 miles away, so a local agent was a must. I was sceptical about using an online agency and did worry about wasting my money, but at the same time, buying and selling houses has changed and everyone looks on Right move and Zoopla and I couldn't really justify the fees of a high street agent for pretty much doing the same. For me this was a perfect service where you are in control and you take the responsibility for all the viewings etc. If you are quite an independent person who likes to take charge then this is a fantastic, cost effective way of selling your house.Griffin did exactly what they said they would do, they were polite, timely, the online chat is very easy to use and always answered.
