About

Founder of Green Space Psychology, Jason Firth, set up this organisation in order to provide a service that is truly helpful to people who are struggling with their mental health or general-self-directness. As a qualified psychotherapist (MBACP) and trainee counselling/practitioner psychologist, he wanted to ground a service in the latest scientific evidence in understanding our complex emotional systems in the context of therapy and personal development.

Q&As

I am massively passionate about working therapeutically with people to make meaningful change and balance. Sometimes we can become stuck in the middle of our difficulties or find it hard to engage with our struggles. At Green Space Psychology, we support people to find a sense of emotional balance, mindful well-being and general self-directed motivation. Our approach is to work with clients to navigate their experiences safely, yet courageously; informed by evidence-based neuroscience, mindfulness and general psychological approaches, to help facilitate real change.

I started my own business in order to support people in the most useful and progressive way possible. I'm passionate about working in the community and really giving people the therapeutic relationship they to deserve, to work with mental health difficulties.

Online and remote sessions are available, through the use of Zoom, Teams, Skype or just telephone. Both remote and face to face sessions are now being offered.

Upon entering the building hand sanitizer is available and then once again offered once the client has entered the clinic space. Distancing is in place and there is air ventilation. Face coverings are offered to client if required. In between sessions the furniture is sanitised thoroughly.

Services

In starting the process of therapy, you are enabling the possibility of powerful, self-directed change. This could be in relation to coping and working with tricky emotional states such as anxiety, depression and anger or, just to work on building healthier relationship dynamics. You might also be going through a tough period due to the external pressures/consequences of modern life. In any case, the purpose of psychotherapy is to work collaboratively in order to support the client to live more meaningfully and generally feel happier and have more control.

The therapists at Green Space Psychology provide a warm, emphatic, non-judgmental space from which you can explore. An individualised (pluralistic) process is adopted to help provide the best support, whilst still being rigorous and evidence-based in approach.
