Doug is great. He pitches the intensity just right with a lovely way of going about his sessions. I was reluctant to get into fitness again as it had been so long since I had done anything cardio - but Doug brought me from nothing to noticeable toning of my muscles. Very much recommend.

When I was locked out of going to my Barry's Bootcamp as well as my Pilates sessions as a result of the lockdown at start of year, I started my virtual PT sessions with Doug. And I haven't looked back since!

Doug has been an incredible trainer and motivator. His perfectionism around the execution of each exercise is impressive and his understanding of the human body means he can guide you to push yourself further to the best of your personal abilities. The targeted approach has lead to a dramatic impact on my progress. Doug is also very personable, so whilst the sessions are sweat inducing and challenging, they are always enjoyable and full of laughs.

I highly recommend Doug to anyone who is looking to take their fitness to the next level!

I have been working out under Doug's supervision for almost a year and Im extremely happy. I spend around 10 hours every day working with a computer and was suffering from back and knee pain. After a couple of months they have disappeared and I'm feeling better than ever. And I have even had fun along the way 😊 More...

Have been working with Doug consistently since the start of the first lockdown. He is flexible with availability, 100% reliable, expert in fitness, polite, approachable and has a sense of humour. In person has its obvious advantages but online works very well also and saves anyone having to travel. More...

Q&As

First off I try and discover the WHY behind a clients goal. Being able to fully understand where they are coming from and what they hope to achieve is key to a better outcome. Listening is key. Once I have an understanding of what they are aiming for I take my wealth of knowledge to help fine tune to their needs. I am all about helping people stay positive and not dreading their next fitness session!

The variety of clients. I train people of all ages and sexes. I have experience with so many different people: some who have never run more than just for the bus; pregnant clients wanting to stay in shape prior to the arrival of their baby; cancer survivors returning to exercise.

Working one-to-one gives me the opportunity to get to know my clients and reminds me how many wonderful human beings are around us.

I think it would be a combination of seeing the results they set out to achieve, the benefit of drawing on my in-depth knowledge and also a friendly and personable personality.

Yes. I can train clients both in person and on livestream. Some clients chose a mix of both.

I follow all the government safety guidelines. If I am training a client in person I make sure to stay 2 metres away from them. I also use a facemask if needed and always sanitise my hands before and after sessions.
