Must read. We did NOT hire this Company direct.
We did receive a quotation in 2019 from d Hempenstall. The value was just out of our budget at the time.
One year later after saving and shopping around we had a further 3 quotations. We simply went with a Preston based Company. The facts the salesman had so much time for us. The price was around £3000.00 more then d Hempenstall. We simply chose the other Company as they add a lot more to offer. After signing up we was looking forward to having our driveway done. Day one a digging team turned up from the Prestion based Company it was apparent that the Prestion based Company sub contract there work load out to other smaller firms something we was not told. We payed above £3000.00 more then d Hempenstall quotation to a Prestion based Company for the reinsurance of a very tidy driveway that would last for years to come. The Company has been operating for over 20 years so we decided to go head.
D Hempenstall’s quotation was £3000.00 pounds under to what we payed. NOW Tuesday the concrete truck had turned up and so did d Hempenstall and his team Confused to say the least we ask him why and how he is doing our driveway. Simple answer the driveway Company we had chosen where NOT driveway installers at all. They where simply sales people selling driveways day in and day out and then subcontracting the work to smaller reputable firms. We felt cheated to say the least. After some phone calls to the Preston based company it’s was clearly understood this is what they do.
We have left a lengthy review upon the Prestons driveway Company.
We can only rate d Hempenstall for the work they did on our driveway witch was the pouring of the concrete and the printing only after that day a further Subcontractor Came to wash of the driveway.
The work d Hempenstall had completed was great and neat.
We payed £3000.00 more to the other Company in Commission fees Which at the time Was NOT said To have a firm do the job we already had a quotation off. We feel very cheated to say the least by the Prestion based Company.
After further research it’s Quite easy to understand the saleteams from the other Company are making a lot of money out of the all process. Very frustrating from a customer‘s point of view. When asked Daniel did tell me the rate of pay he was receiving for his work on our driveway Not even 10% of the all price.
Our neighbours also signed up with the Prestion based Company and also the work was sub contracted out to yet Another smaller firm.
Rating d Hempenstall for his work on the day overall 9/10 we are just regretting the fact we did not hire d Hempenstall from day one.
We have ask d Hempenstall to quote for the rear patio to be done he refused and says he can’t take the work load away from the original contractor it could potentially lose him future work from the Company.
I simply have not named the other Company for the reasons being it may jeopardise Future Operations for d Hempenstal.
I would recommend d Hempenstall to others in near future.

What do you love most about your job?
Personal I enjoy meeting new people. I have a out going personality that’s seems to fit in. I like spending time with New or existing clients disgusting plans or advising what would be the most suitable ect. I do enjoy a physical Challenge but will only take on a challenge if I’m confident and competent that I can commit to the challenge. The most I love about my role is the satisfaction. Myself I just thrive of client Satisfaction the feeling alone is rewarding. After all we are NOT in the game for a short term. Our aim is please each and every time and make our name stand from the rest. Our 5 year goal is create a reputation that would be noticed throughout northwest. I personally left A great career as a civle engineer to follow my dreams.

A Concept design can be drafted with the feed back from client to allow for any changes, expectations or cost cutting advice.
Once happy yes compliant architectural drawings can be done online.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Less visits to customers property. Our rate of successfully wining a job is 1 quotation in 5 there for we allow photos of your desired project we strategise a close estimation based on what we can see. If the potential client is happy with that estimation we then arrange to quote the job.
