After submitting a request for a quote via the company website, Harry Adams of Dedham Vale Tree Surgery came straight back to me and we made an appointment for him to come the next day to look at the trees that needed dealing with - a Saturday. He was extremely pleasant to deal with and after talking my requirements through with me he emailed through an excellent quote which I accepted, and we made a further appointment for him and his team to come and do the work.On the agreed day, I was unable to be in, but Harry said this would be no problem. When I returned home later in the day, the work had been done exactly as we had discussed, and to a very high standard. There was absolutely no mess left by Harry and his team, who even shut the gates (which I had left open) on their way out!!I will definitely contact Dedham Vale Tree Surgery in the future for any tree work that I need doing. Firstly, the owner of this company has to be one of the most knowledgeable Tree Surgery specialists in the business. He advised me on exactly the best way to go about reducing the size of my trees and then quoted me a lot less than I expected. His team arrived on time at 9am and when I returned home from work, you litterally would not know that they had ever been there (apart from the fact that my two trees were half the size!) they take a genuine pride in thier work amd the left the whole area as clean and tidy as before they had arrived. Harry the owner kept me updated and his whole team were friendly and passionate about what they were doing. Just had Harry and his team cut back my conifers which extend the whole length of my garden (100ft) and remove a rather unsightly bush consisting of many old trees and a nasty bramble. I don't have enough good words to say about the whole experience- from beginning to end Harry has always returned my calls straight away and been nothing less than professional. They came and completed the work Friday and Saturday and the whole team were polite, professional and extremely hard working. Just thought I would let you know how pleased we are with the hedgerow cutting your company done 2nd June. It was really tall and overgrown and much thicker than we thought! All was going well until the torrential downpour in the late afternoon. They still carried on working so to get it all one height. It certainly wasn’t easy for them working in such conditions. They cleared the cuttings as best they could and returned to cut the front in the dry. They cleared up again and left the garden completely clean and tidy. They made sure we were completely happy with everything before they left.What an excellent job they done. Came, Saw, Sawed and Fell...The tree was a straggling monster of Eucalyptus in a small garden and we are delighted it is no longer there. Harry and his team did a fabulous job pruning our ageing horse chestnut and ash trees. From our initial contact with Harry we were impressed with his knowledge and extremely helpful, friendly, and totally professional manner. Harry advised us how manage and maintain our trees and liaised with the local authority on our behalf to ensure we fully complied with the tree protection order (TPO) rules and planning application. The quality of their workmanship was second to non, very efficient, polite and courteous at all times. They tidied and cleared everything away taking all cuttings etc. with them when they left, you wouldn't have known they had been here. In fact our neighbours commented on what a good job they had done on the trees and how clean and tidy they left everything. As we live in a relatively small village our continuing good relationship with our neighbours is most important. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Harry and his team to anyone considering this work. We will definitely be contacting Harry again next year to carry out our on going tree maintenance.
