I was looking for a dress for the BAFTA’s, and after purchasing a dress from eBay which wasn’t what I thought it would be, I decided to make an appointment at Crystal Bows as I drive past every day on the way to work. Dianne’s so experienced she knows what will suit you and gives brilliant advice. She said the train would be annoying as everyone would stand on it and she was right! But it fitted the occasion, so I kept a small one. I might get it altered before wearing it to another event though. :) I loved my blue glitter gown and felt amazing in it and want to thank Dianne for being so lovely. Finally....a professional, helpful and caring bridal shop in Edinburgh! Jade and her team made me feel so welcome on my visits to their shop. The extra touches mean so much! I had not had the best experiences in other bridal shops in Edinburgh and Jade just took the whole experience for me to another level! I cannot thank the ladies enough at Crystal Bows for an unforgettable bridal shopping experience! My whole bridal party had a day to remember. From the beautiful decor inside to the kind and warm atmosphere from the team. There was nothing they wouldn't do. Dress no.1 was the one for me and it was perfect on our wedding day, I had so many compliments. Can't recommend Crystal Bows highly enough! Jade, Diane and Lisa are brilliant. From walking in the door it was such a lovely experience and so different from the other bridal salons I'd visited. My mum and BM were huge fans of the treats table!! After trying on hundreds of dresses across several stores and being completely disheartened Jade helped me pick a gown and then customise it until it was perfect. I cannot recommend jade and her mum enough not very lovely welcoming polite and helpful I traveled from Glasgow to have a look and went back the next week and bought THE dress � and veil I was made feel very welcome and the experience was very different to others I had been to the giving of gloves before touching any of the gowns is a great start to the service and very professional this shows how much pride is taken in their work secondly the offer of refreshments and sweets is another additional thoughtful service thank you both so much for making my dreams come true with my amazing dress

Firstly I just want to say thank you to Jade. From the moment myself and my bridesmaid walked through the door we were greeted with a warm welcome, plus cake and a glass of bubbles. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience from start to finish. The shop is beautiful from the dresses to the staff.
I can't wait to go back with my mother and the rest of the bridal party.

I booked an appointment to look at wedding dresses with very little idea of finding something I liked. I’d never even tried on a wedding dress before coming to Crystal Bows! Sydney was absolutely wonderful, put me at ease as I was quite nervous and asked lots of questions to get a better understanding of what I like. I tried on five dresses, narrowed it down to two and then fell totally in love with one of them. Completely unexpectedly, I “said yes to the dress!” I am now counting down until the new year when my dress will be ready for fitting. So happy with the service I have received at Crystal Bows so far - I was treated like a very special lady, as were my entourage when we visited the boutique earlier this year. The staff are so engaged in their work and really do try to help you find what's best for you and within your budget. I actually decided there and then to say Yes to the Dress and every time i think about the dress and the experience I got on the day, I am so happy. I am getting married next February so i have a bit of time to wait but I can't wait! The dresses they stock are very varied, with styles to suit lots of different tastes. Amazing service and a fantastic selection of gowns. This was my first time trying on dresses and I was nervous as I was not sure what I wanted and had heard some horror stories about other bridal stores - I shouldn't have worried at all! The staff instantly put me a ease, and happy for me to look round and they recommended some styles to get started. I have a lot going on at the moment so was very emotional but the staff quickly picked up on that and were very supportive and kind. We brought our wedding forward so had to find a dress and alter it in 5 weeks but nothing was seen as a problem, they only came up with reassurance. They found gowns that I felt comfortable in but which accentuated the good bits. The lovely interior of the shop and the bubbly helped make it the special experience that wedding gown shopping should be, and there was no pressure on me to buy. They have a good selection of dresses in various different sizes. They do individual appointments so you are the only group in the salon at once.
