What do you love most about your job?
Helping to create happy times and special memories that last forever is what Colin Roy loves most about his job. Everyone has their own taste in music and having the skill to read an audience from all ages and create a feel good atmosphere though songs, music and entertainment for Colin is a fantastic feeling. He has always felt that singing is like talking to someone and to engage with an audience, surprise and surpass expectations is something that you can’t put a price on.

What inspired you to start your own business?
Colin Roy was discovered by the casting director of Disney’s The Lion King and went on to star in London West End theatre, working with many of the best choreographers and directors in the business including Anthony Van Laast (Mamma Mia). Performing in shows such as Five Guy’s Named Moe (Sir Cameron Mackintosh), Smokey Joe’s Cafe and Sweet Charity to name a few gave Colin Roy the experience and inspiration to produce his own theatre shows. After receiving numerous requests to provide entertainment for weddings, parties, concerts and a wide variety of events that require high end entertainment, Colin Roy decided to start his own business and CR Entertainment was born.

Online events, birthday parties, weddings and shows, interactive fun performances hosted by Colin Roy for virtual gatherings on Zoom and other platforms. Includes live singer on backing tracks or The Colin Roy Band, DJ and your guest’s pre-recorded special dedications, messages and pictures.
Sing A Celebration: A very clever and innovative gift to surprise family and friends with a personalised video skilfully presented by Colin Roy performing the song of your choice with your pictures as the backdrop. Ideal for milestone birthdays, anniversaries and any special occasion. Memorial tribute videos are also available.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
CR Entertainment follow the most up to date COVID-19 Government guidelines and requirements.
Currently, England is at Alert Level Zero with no restrictions at Events.
Colin Roy and his team have a duty to protect themselves, clients, guests and venue staff whilst taking part in an event and take reasonable measures to mitigate exposure to, and the spread of, coronavirus.
Colin Roy and his team follow self-isolation rules and regularly use lateral flow tests prior to attending events.
Colin Roy and his team undertake safe practices which include the wearing of masks wherever needed/possible, safe distancing wherever possible, regular handwashing and the regular cleaning of equipment.
Colin Roy and his team will follow COVID-19 Guidelines and requirements stipulated by each venue at each event.
