What do you love most about your job?
I've always been passionate about drawing faces. I even drew caricatures of TV favourites Mel and Sue, which were presented to them when I was 9 years old! I've since been commissioned to draw more famous faces, but the best part of my job now is getting to be part of people's happiest days - weddings, parties and celebrations. I love bringing laughter and happiness to these special moments through live caricature drawings. I'll never get bored of the buzz! I actually really love the pressure of drawing live, straight to pen, no pre-pencilling or rubbing out, with a crowd watching! Bring it on!
What inspired you to start your own business?
When I was 15, I saw caricaturists working at Alton Towers and I couldn't believe that was a real job! It was my dream. Fast forward 7 years to the age of 22, when I was engaged to my now husband - I saw wedding caricaturists in National wedding magazines and was shocked that there was no artist based in Cornwall - Thanks to me, now there is!

I can draw from photos but this service is currently closed until 2023, so it's live bookings only at the moment.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
At the time of writing (May 2022) hopefully face masks and hand sanitiser are now a distant memory for us all!
