Having worked in a senior HR role in education for some years I wanted to work in a greater variety of sectors and also wanted the flexibility and freedom on being a business owner.

There are many HR providers in the UK. Many businesses immediately go to the bigger national players in the industry and subscribe to standard packages provided by these companies. Colden HR believes strongly that there is no 'one size fits all' solution to HR. Whilst many of the legal principles remain the same, the correct HR solutions are those which fit the nature, size, preferences and culture of the individual business. This is why we like to work closely with our clients, establish a face to face relationship, understand how they work and know the type of approach that will best suit them.
Whilst much of what we do is to help businesses navigate around the raft of employment legislation that now exists, we also think it is important to help organisations to develop a best practice and ethical approach to managing their staff which pays dividends in the long run through nurturing an effective, flexible, motivated and high performing workforce.
