We cannot praise Chris enough for his professionalism, attention to detail and commitment to giving us the images that we wanted to capture on our special day. Having used Chris for our wedding I would 100% recommend him. He did such a wonderful job; our photos were exceptional! Such a diverse range of shots and Chris is the ultimate professional! Q&As

I have been using a camera ever since I got my first film camera at the age of eight, and even at that tender age I was aware of the ability of an image to tell a story. I would set up my action figures in scenarios. Without realising at the time, I was creating storyboards. This advanced as I got older and I developed the ability to capture the moment. This is what I always say to my clients that I do best, I tell a story with an image.

To do this I have to be aware of everything that is happening and to anticipate a moment. Of course none of this would matter if I was not confident using my chosen equipment and aware of the capabilities and limitations of what I have at my disposal.

I always make sure I have a list of questions when I meet a client but the biggest question is what do YOU want to achieve from the experience. Putting all pre-conceptions and ideas of what the end result should be or what you've seen in the past.... what is YOUR vision of what you want.

This applies to video production or weddings, be it photography or videography. For me, the project should never be cut and dry "this is what you are getting, and this is the price". Everybody is different and every requirement is unique, so I ask questions.... and then I listen.

My website is Chris Daymond Creative for a reason. Creativity is what it is all about for me. I've only just touched the surface of creating, I hope to have a whole lifetime of producing images and video. None of it would be worth anything if the end product does not engage people, and I love a happy client. Not just because it's good for business, but because it genuinely makes me happy to be able to produce something that my clients love.

Without wishing to sounding arrogant, I have a lot to offer! I haven't always been confident enough to stand up and say that, but I have quietly been building up my skills and abilities to better myself.

One day I looked at myself and thought, actually I could really do this. I got a little spark of confidence and I'm going to keep that spark going and keep building on what I want to achieve. I am full of ideas, and I feel a need to make these ideas a reality, and that has inspired me to start my own business.

I'm genuine, hard working, dedicated and creative. They may all sound like buzz words but this truly does best sums me up. I will treat your project, whether it is a video project or your wedding day, as if it is the most important project I have, and will work extremely hard to produce a quality product for you.
