This martial arts school offers so much for all ages. Chris and Fred teach respect to others and for self with traditional values. Not to mention the actual karate itself!!. We have boys of various ages who go, and it took a while for them for realise hard work pays off so it was well worth sticking it out . They get to use their energy up outside of the house so it's great for us!!! More...

I started training in anshin ryu with this club almost 7 years ago and wouldn’t go anywhere else! This is traditional Karate - teaching you etiquette, the theory to the art and the physical aspect. It can be hard but it’s worth it.

Couldn't agree more with Jayson. If you are thinking of joining or looking for a place for your children you won't find better.

All styles have traditional elements which are often lost in modern dojos. You are taught so much more than self defence.

I searched all the clubs in Darlington looking for a good, friendly club that the family could join. We then found Kodokan, it was everything I was looking for - various styles of Karate - sporting for the children and traditional for myself, weapons, excellent Instructors and friendly. All the instructors are approachable, both during lesson and outside of training to help answer any questions you have. Don't take my word for it - come and see for your self! More...
