Jessica has truly been a beacon of support and healing in my life. I was quite scared to initially start therapy, but after the first session my worries were significantly reduced. Her presence gives a warmth and positivity that immediately put me at ease.

Throughout our sessions, Jessica has consistently provided me with a safe and comfortable environment where I can openly express my thoughts and feelings without any fear of judgment. Jess is a trusted person who understands and genuinely cares about my well-being.

Her guidance and expertise have been truly wonderful in helping me navigate my anxieties and I’ve seen so much progress in my ability to cope with stress and uncertainty.

I have now had a total of 3 sessions with Jessica and have already had great realisations which in turn, subconsciously, have led to progress in such short time. Although my journey, with the help of Jessica, is just getting started, I see a massive difference in the way her sessions make me feel in comparison to other therapists. I began working with Jesica around last September, I had recently moved here as a uni student and was struggling with self esteem, relationships, communication with myself, I had always had quite a tricky time finding the right kind of counselling for me, but I knew within the first few sessions that I was making the right decision by being there. I have been having weekly sessions with Jess for 6 months now. I had never had therapy before and was unsure if it was right for me but looking back it was exactly what I needed. Jess is incredibly easy to talk to and instantly puts you at ease, she really helps to validate what you are feeling without judgement and offers perspective to help you process difficult situations and emotions. Each session I am taken back by the wisdom Jess can shed on things I have struggled with for years and each week I can feel my mind becoming that little more at ease because of it. I highly recommend therapy to everyone, the quote from a podcast that got me to take the plunge was “you go to the gym and invest your time and money in your body, why wouldn’t you do it for you mind.” It is crazy to me the trajectory I can see now of how much easier being in my own head could be, and I have Jess to thank for that! Jessica has been a super-woman from the get go. From our intro call I knew I was in good hands, and considering I have been trying to push myself to see a therapist for about 4 years, it was a really smooth start.

Before working with Jessica, I had tried a few different styles of therapy with a variety of personalities. Without a doubt, Jess gave the most effective support I have ever received, and everything I hoped to gain from therapy in only a few sessions. From our first session, I knew Jess was suited to me. She made me feel comfortable, safe and seen. I felt she instantly understand who I was, better than myself. I cannot believe that I haven't felt the need to return to therapy since working with Jess. Jess is just amazing, I'm so glad I found her! She has helped me endlessly, especially with my anxiety and over-thinking and has given me tools to help me deal with it all.

Having Jess to rant to makes me feel so much better and she helps me gain different perspectives on things I am struggling with. I started speaking to Jess in Jan 2021 on a weekly basis and now catch up with her every 4-6 weeks unless I am more in need. Life changer!
I contacted Jessica when I was at one of my lowest points, feeling so insecure, vulnerable and having no confidence and since having her in my life I have completely turned it around. She made me see the beauty in my life and that I deserve so much more than I was getting, and made me believe it too.
I am SO much happier now. I have so much more belief in myself and know that I deserve to be happy, and I deserve happiness in my life.

Therapy is hard but Jess will instantly make you feel at ease. I had sessions for just under 6 months and Jess has been amazing and helped me so much. At first I was nervous to start therapy because I thought my problems were not worthy of professional help or that it was too 'dramatic' to seek help but it was the best decision I ever made. I realise now that everyone deserves to have a therapist as kind, patient and understanding as Jess (if you're thinking about it just give it a go!). I have learnt so much more about myself than I expected and I am now confident that I have all the tools to overcome any future setbacks that I might face. However, I know that Jess will always be there if I need help again and I really appreciated her two week check-in text after I finished having sessions. I would also 100% recommend Jess to any of my closest friends and family.

I truly believe in the power of CBT and I stand shoulder to shoulder with clients through their journey. My informal approach to this effective form of talking therapy has helped change the lives of clients and I am so proud to have been there with them to watch them evolve and heal. Adopting this informal approach rather than a more traditional form of therapy helps clients find joy in the process of recovery, and encourages long-term healing.

I decided to open my own practice after years of working for various organisations, there were a number of reasons for this rather scary, bold career move. Most importantly, I have always been completely dedicated to the people I work with, my clients. I found that when I was working for organisations and institutions, there were times when I was unable to help my clients progress with the momentum they were able to, due to factors out of my control. Opening my own practice limited that drastically. This innovative approach empowers my client and that in itself accelerates progression.

The relationship you have with your therapist is one of the most important factors when deciding who you would trust to help guide and support you through your recovery. My practice is not suitable for everyone. I work off the basis that I will help people looking for mental health support find their perfect fit, whether that is with me, or exploring other opportunities. You must feel safe with the person you are working with, first and foremost. This is why I offer a no obligation free consultation call to access your needs before anything more formal is booked.

My services can be in person if you are local to Brighton. However, the majority of my clients are virtual. My virtual sessions are on zoom. I also have an app where I provide a huge variety of amazing services available with instant 24/7 access. Please see 'Services' for more details.

These sessions are 45 minutes and offer continual support and guidance for individual client needs.
