Catering By Lorraine offers good quality home cooked food. We are a reliable and friendly company.
The company started in 2005 and has catered many events since then on a wide range of events from small family personal dinners at home to large events for the Secretary Of state.

Lorraine delivered on time and the food was lovely. It was a cold platter with assorted sandwiches, wraps, bites etc. We discussed my requirements on the phone and Lorraine was flexible with her menu and pricing. An excellent service and I would definitely use her again. More...

I could not have asked for a better caterer for my wedding. I had several responses to my initial post on BARK for a wedding caterer.
She inspired confidence on the phone and the price was right.
At all stages in the process from anxious bride to be right through to the actual day Lorraine always patiently answered my questions and put my mind at rest. She is an excellent caterer and the menus she came up with were perfect for my themed wedding. They were also delicious - all the canapes went extremely fast (despite plentiful portions) our greedy guests couldn't get enough of them leaving us without! The rest of the food was also excellent and a large number of our guests including some hard to please commented on how lovely it was. In addition Lorraine was able to give me excellent advice on a number of other wedding related matters such as what wine to buy and found me an excellent florist. I'm not planning to get married again but if I ever need a caterer for a big event, Lorraine will be my first choice.

Fantastic! They served a 3 course meal for our wedding. Food was delicious, amazingly well presented, and they were all very friendly, patient, and worked alongside our requirements. I would definitely recommend!

What’s your signature dish?
As all of our catering events are different we do not have a signature dish. We do enjoy catering for any event
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We discuss with our clients their every need for their event with them.
We meet at the venue with them so we can discuss all of the clients worries and thoughts for the day.
We will discuss all of the different dishes that a client is thinking of for their event
We will have a tasting day for our clients to see if they like the menus that they have chosen so we all know that is the wright menu for their event
What do you love most about your job?
I love cooking menus that have been chosen by a client
I enjoy meeting new clients and their family and friends and watching people eating the food we have just cooked for them
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business as i felt that i had much more to give people if i could create and cook my own menus
