Would give 0 stars but not an option. Absolute crooks! Have nearly £5k of our money. Sold us windows you can’t even get. Fitted a wrong window and then Brian just last week lied to our faces about ordering replacement windows. Left us with unfinished windows and outstanding windows. Now gone into administration. Had windows and door supplied to us by Brian and all I can say is what a very genuine man he is I have decided to post here as I am aware that the business has fallen into administration and difficulties along the way, but after reading the comments from some on here claiming he is a conman really made me irritated. People put their life and souls into their businesses and sometimes these things fail. Beware of Brian Curtis and his firm, Bryson Developments. They went into administration yesterday with no notice, leaving customers like myself with part-built projects after months of excuses and delays and asking us to pay advances to secure materials that were never purchased or delivered. They've cut off their phone lines and Brian will not return our calls or texts, leaving me no choice but to post here. The voicemail on their number says to contact the Consumer Protection Association to get our deposits back but CPA says Bryson haven't kept up their membership with them, so Bryson and Brian have mis-represented that they have deposit protection. We trusted Brian. He told us that our young family reminded him of when he and Allyson were starting out. We're so disappointed and let down to understand that this was all a sales technique and we've been taken advantage of. I feel sorry for the workers and contractors who were also given no notice and remain to be paid for the work they've done. What a charlatan. More...

Bryson Developments are an amateurish, unreliable and badly organised company. We appointed them to build a two storey extension which was started in August last year. There was no project plan or project management, the building has not been built in line with the plans and we are still waiting for them to finish 8 months later. They have insisted on payment of over 95% of the total cost and have now not done any work for around 6 weeks. They lie repeatedly about what's happening and have consistently left the site in a disgusting and dangerous state. The amount of stress they have caused us is hard to describe. I would think very hard before appointing them for any work and insist on speaking to a few people they have done work for rather than just reading a bunch of reviews. More...

Bryson Developments are an amateurish, badly managed and unreliable building company. They have been building our extension for 8 months now with no sign of a finish date. Despite taking over 95% of the total price in staged payments we have had nobody onsite for around 6 weeks and we are repeatedly lied to about when materials have been ordered, when someone will be here etc. When the project was started, back in August last year, it was clear that no-one had looked at the plans or had a clue what they were building. Because there is no project planning the building has not been constructed in line with the plans and nothing was ever ordered in advance leading to many many delays. The company also appears to operate on a 5-6 hour working day which slows the process down even more. Wanted to share my great experience with Bryson developments. I had a tiled roof to replace the old conservatory roof. The quality of the work is outstanding. The whole team were so professional and friendly it was a pleasure to have them here . The room is now part of the kitchen and no longer feels like a conservatory. They replaced an old conservatory roof with a tiled roof with insulation and then plastered to give a completely different feel to the room . it is now a warm welcoming modern extention of my kitchen . Superb Finish We couldn't be happier with our finished porch. The quality of the products is top class... And the workmanship and professionalism of the builders was superb. We were allocated one key worker (Ben) throughout the project who made sure everything was spot on. We did have a few teething problems and a delay at the start of the project... Has been a nightmare windows were meant to be fitted February this year My bay window was twice measured or manufactured incorrectly this was not completed until April. I was compensated for the inconvenience of having a board up my window for the endurance which I was grateful for. The product is fine the fitters were fine the company has extremely bad customer service . I had to constantly contact them for updates through out the whole procedure and yet again I’m constantly chasing them for an update on my certification for the windows as I want to put the house on the market . All of Brysons staff are very professional and polite and respectful of your property ensuring minimum disruption during the building works. I had a solid roof conservatory built by Bryson Developments. It was the first building project I've been involved in and I relied on Bryson for advice on quite a few things. They pretty much designed it all for me. Looking back I'm glad we didn't go with my initial idea! Quality of work is superb. They matched the style and finishing touches to the main building and left the site very tidy for the landscaper to come in. I think the most important for me was that they always picked up the phone and had time to talk through my ideas/concerns. I honestly cannot fault the service we have received from the initial point of contact right up until final completion. Bryan and his team were very informative and gave us ideas and suggestions we didn’t even consider. They were not pushy in anyway and designed our conservatory based on our needs and not what was the most money for them. For us it was important to have one company that could do everything from start to finish and make the process as stress-free as possible. Every workman that has come to the house has been professional and polite. They clean up at the end of the day and just crack on to get the job done. They really did go above and beyond and nothing was ever too much trouble. It is clear why they are a reputable award winning company. Bryan would regularly call in to check on progress and update us which I think is a nice personal touch but shows how much he cares and is passionate about what he does. Bryan offers helpful advice at the beginning of each project and gives his time patiently with my moments of indecision!
