Immediately on arrival you are greeted by the friendly staff as well as the stunning views and surroundings. As you enter the hotel, the grand staircase informs you that you are in a special place. With large spacious comfortable rooms, a cosy well stocked bar and numerous fireplaces ready for the winter months. Along with all of the great trappings of the hotel there is an award winning restaurant called Bokhara, situated at the back of the hotel. Amazing Indian restaurant where you can even watch the chefs create the dishes from scratch. Had a great evening eating fabulous food and chatting to the friendly staff. ...a true gem of a place to stay when in South Wales. More...

I'd like to thank Court Colman Manor for the lovely weekend I just spent there. It was a wedding I attended, in which I was the only vegan. From before my arrival, you were understanding and generous, offering me my own menu to choose from and preparing me vegan sausages for my breakfast. Even when the wedding buffet came out without any vegan options, I needed only to ask one of your lovely servers, who kindly asked the chef if there was anything they could rustle up for me - they promptly cooked me my own meal and served straight away, with apologies there were no vegan options for me in the original buffet (which I didn't mind, I know my dietary requirements are unusual!). They also worked hard to ensure the drinks I drank were vegan, they looked to see if they had any non-dairy milk for any hot drinks I'd like, but they didn't have any. This wasn't an issue, as there is a local supermarket, where I got some milk for myself. All in all, they made me feel very welcome, made sure I was happy, without any judgement or hardship. I cannot express enough how thankful I am! I truly recommend this place, not just for vegans, but for anyone - for a weekend away or for their own wedding! Their house and grounds are beautiful. 10/10 will certainly be staying here again! More...

This is a grand country mansion which has been brought up to date with tasteful use of modern fixtures and fittings on a grand scale. The size of the room we stayed in was more than ample for what we needed, and the separate bathroom was partially tiled with a tiled floor and tiled steps around the double size bath. The only problem is if you are partially disabled, it is difficult to get into the bath tub to use the shower, and there are no grab rails anywhere to steady yourself. If you are able bodied, then you can run a full bathroom fairly quickly, then have the choice of sitting on one of the two ledges and dip your feet, or lie diagonally across the deep corners and immerse yourself in lashings of hot water. It is worth running the hot tap until it runs hot, this can take up to a minute. I could imagine a loving couple making very good use of this Bath, and follow with a good night's sleep in the king size double bed. Tea and coffee making facilities are included. More...

The room is nice, not a palace but everything I need with some cute features like a window seat and clever little ensuite bathroom.
However, I'm 6' 2" and managed to smack my head on the top of the door stepping down from the bathroom's raised floor. But it's an old building and people were shorter back then I guess.
The staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly with out being overbearing. As for the Indian restaurant, oh my goodness! So good! Portion size, cost and flavour all perfect. Can't recommend highly enough.
