When we arrived it was so noisy that you could not hold a conversation properly. There was a baby shower party in one half of the room. Lots of cheering, clapping and noise...which you'd expect at a party but not when you pop in for coffee and cake. We both felt that you should not have opened to the public on this occasion. It was chaotic. To add to it...the food orders were being yelled out above the noise. It was a horrible experience and atmosphere. To make things worse, right next to us before we'd even finished, staff began moving and dragging tables and chairs....near kitchen window, causing more noise and distribution. Obviously preparing for another party as balloons were brought in. There was no thought or consideration for your non party customers. It was horrendous and we couldn't wait to get out of there. You maybe need to consider closing to the public when you have parties....because take it from us....the two don't mix and it doesn't work. More...

My girlfriend and 4 month old had an amazing experience at pizza night in Bluebell. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the pizza was absolutely superb. The crust was perfect, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The restaurant had a cozy ambiance and also a night time Cool vibe, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend trying it out! And just small things like getting dips in dishes that actually last until the end of the food. More...

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly and polite service. And a fabulous bangin bagel! Coffee was very tasty and you won’t be disappointed with the portion size of their breakfasts. Looking forward to a return visit.

The most horrible experience i ever had in a coffee house. Very disorganised! The order was totally messed up. I've ordered pancakes with honey and Berry(i clearly specified that i don't want chocolate) and avocado on toast with scrambled egg, feta and hallumi cheese. The girl who took my order she repeat after me what i want and it was fine. But when the order came everything was totally different, the pancakes was with chocolate, i sent it back and she came with the same pancakes but with some berries on top and she told me that the black sauce from the pancakes its the juice from the beries but it was chocolate!! I sent it back again the third time finally she came with the right one. The taste was bad, a lot of backing powder in it! The order with avocado, she came just with two pieces of toast and some avocado on top and nothing else. I sent it back and after she came , something from that plate was still missing, the third time she came with that plate finally it was the right one but the scrambled egg was very raw! It's Saturday ballet which can only mean one thing, exploring cafes. Today I thought I'd give the Bluebell cafe a try. I had a really warm welcome from the staff, the cafe has a really nice relaxed vibe, it wasn't too busy on arrival with a good few seats to choose from. The menu was really good with plenty of choice. I went for the Bluebell breakfast which has the unique twist of Greek potatoes added. I can honestly say that this was the best breakfast I've had for a while, everything was fresh and tasty, the latte was piping hot (as requested) and quite smooth. It's a lovely atmosphere every time I visit. I love coming in for coffee and cake. All the staff members are very friendly especially Maria who is always so helpful and has such a good personality. She makes the time to talk with customers in between the busy rushes, even engaging with the dogs and young children. My boyfriend and I stopped off for a delicious vegetarian breakfast this morning. Each item was cooked perfectly. I especially loved the flavour to the beans and tomatoes. The cafe was very clean and tidy and the autumnal decorations were lovely! Thank you to our server Bev and the friendly service from the owner Sophia. Me and my partner order our breakfast from here quite often and the bacon sausage and porched egg have always been beautiful, however couple of times we ordered it now hasn’t been the best I normally order the porched egg on toast but past couple times I’ve had it the egg is not porched it’s boiled and I don’t want boiled egg on toast , especially when your paying £20 you want what your paying for.

Called in on a Sunday morning for breakfast. Steady flow of customers in and out but tables available. Interior is bright and airy, and there is a small seating area on the raised walkway outside. The cooked breakfast we had was excellent. Freshly cooked with plenty on the plate. Toast was particularly enjoyable - freshly sliced bread. Excellent selection of bites to eat, to satisfy the need for a "light bite", through to platefuls for the very hungriest among us! Lovely array of teas and juices to accompany your meal, and a very homely and cosy feel inside. The staff are all wonderful and very helpful, but it does get busy around typical lunchtimes so there may be a short wait at peak times for a table. That alone speaks volumes for Bluebell - never disappointing! Parking: Parking can be tricky, so will need to be on one of the streets adjacent to Bluebell. Have always managed to park nonetheless, but may mean that it's slightly less accessible for those with accessibility issues, and a set of steps to enter the café. Not an issue at all otherwise. First time I have been here, saw the previous reviews and ratings so thought I would give it a go. We ordered salmon and eggs on toast with hollandaise sauce and I went for a special which was Korean style, dirty fries. Got to say the Korean mince in the fries was bang on. Really good food.
