I have used Dave on numerous occasions within my home and feel that his knowledge and professionalism are second to none. His experience and expertise are worth the money he charges and when recently making the decision to upgrade my retail business I could think of no one better to ask for help and guidance .
The stores were becoming to look tired and old and were in need of a brand new look.
Dave willingly visited each location and took his time in getting a feel for each store as they all differ in size and layout. He presented his ideas for the redesign of the stores with passion and had ensured that they transformed both the inside and out to make them bright, welcoming and current.
With numerous properties involved this is an ongoing project but Dave is at the end of the phone for any questions and help we require. He is willing to visit site when needed and I feel this commitment to his work shines with the end result.

Dave responded promptly to my request for help with my small utility room redesign project.He was clear about the cost and service available for a 2 hour consultation. He arrived promptly and spent over 3 hours giving helpful and knowledgeable advice with a range of budget options.Dave was obviously enthusiastic about helping find storage options in small spaces and was happy to extend the consultation to other areas of the house within the time available. We have a nice modest sized inner city garden and we were looking to get it landscaped for around £5k. We had quotes from a few builders/landscapers that were coming in over budget and we weren’t sure they were exactly what we wanted or needed. We were feeling a little insecure on the prices as well as the design, that is before a friend recommended to us Dave at Bespoke Living by design. At first we weren’t sure whether the added cost of a design fee would make any difference but upon our friends insistence we bit the bullet and went ahead, booking him in for his 2 hour consultancy meeting at £200 + vat. We are now sold on paying for knowledge where design and layout is concerned. Dave said the design was fragmenting space whilst actually driving up the cost, my wife was the first to jump on board with the new layout so obviously I quickly followed suit! Reorganising the layout and changing a few materials he made everything much more balanced, advised us what type of installer would be more appropriate and we are now going ahead with an install much more in budget at £3.5k which is exactly what we want, and that makes me happy! We will definitely use Dave again for any design issues we have in the future whether they are inside or out, and are completely sold on paying for imagination and inspiration through knowledge. We have employed Dave at Bespoke living on a variety of occasions on our first property in Burnage where he did the consultancy design and parts of the installation on our Bathroom, Kitchen, Bedrooms, Garden and the overall feel of the place. We were always so pleased with what they delivered that it was a no brainer for us to employ him on their half day rate of £300 + vat, when we were ready to move on to a bigger place in a better area for families with our daughter soon to arrive. We booked to see 5 houses on this particular afternoon that we wanted his views on. The knowledge emparted was invaluable and his energy and enthusiasm when we entered the 4th property was that confidence we needed. He pointed out that the overgrown garden was hiding it's true size and that the rotting broken decked area and questionable decor inside was minor and mainly cosmetic but was keeping the price down and was a good thing to those who can look past it. We agreed bolstered by his extra experience which just helps you make that leap quicker and with more confidence. We got it and have now been living in it for over a year and don't regret the move for a second.

In that time Dave and his team have re-designed and re-landscaped the garden replacing that awful decking whilst also installing a garden lighting system, a threshold dual purpose indoor/outdoor home cinema, helped design our new porch, supplied wallpaper, whilst helping with the overall layout/feel to the place and finally are set to re-design our bathroom in the near future.

We can't recommend his services enough he has helped us hugely with all aspects of our property experiences and we couldn't be more pleased with where we are and what we have got. Dave at Bespoke Living by Design significantly transformed the Architectural plans for our recent loft conversion. We were keen to get a second opinion on the layout of the space and contacted Dave to see if he could help? Drawing upon years of experience in house renovation and a clear passion for design he pointed out some very simple but often overlooked changes that helped us to maximise the loft space in our 1930s semi. Using Dave's expertise for a day we were able to discuss and alter the Architects plans to best suit our needs. He was more than happy to work with us to find solutions instead of just instructing us on what he thought we should do. He was personable and professional in his approach and this was refreshing to see. As a result of our consultation with Dave and a particularly flexible contractor (willing to work with rough sketches over Architectural plans) we now have an impressive two double bedrooms and a family bathroom all squeezed into a hip to gable dormer loft. It feels great up there and certainly doesn't feel cramped and pokey as you might expect.

You may look at the consultation fee and think it's a lot of money to pay out for a conversation and initial sketches but it's not and in the long run it will significantly benefit your project and save you money. We have no regrets and would highly recommend Dave and Bespoke Living by Design. We look forward to working with him again in the near future. More...

We employed Dave at Bespoke living for the half day at £300 + vat rate, as we had lined and short listed 4 houses that we wanted him to view with us, after we heard about their consultancy design service through a friend. His knowledge and expertise in our corner were so useful to us on the viewings and installed us with the confidence to make what we believe is the right decision!

Under his guidance we opted for a pretty much finished house in Stretford, for once we discussed and debated our budget, savings, financial situation he steered us away from another cheaper house that was more of a project and actually would have meant more potential work for him going forward, as he advised us that our budget would not surfice and with a young child it would be too much stress in all respects to take on at this point in our lives.

At present we have had our offer accepted on the property, and again, Dave's advice proved invaluable in order for us to secure the house. Once in ownership of the property we will again employ Dave's services to help with personalising the place with wallpapers, fabric, furniture etc. We are total advocates of paying for knowledge, and certainly Dave's experience and expertise are well worth the money. We live in an up and coming area of Manchester and made the decision that we would rather max out the use of the space of our well proportioned mid-terrace property, than the cost of upsizing in the area we would want to live in. So we employed Bespoke living to help realise the potential of our house something that we have no regrets in doing! For Dave came out and gave us some really progressive and imaginative layouts for the whole property. Not just offering one option but a variety dependent upon budget/planning etc. This was great for us to become more decisive on what we actually wanted and our now progressing with a loft conversion accommodating a guest bedroom with ensuite and a redistribution of the ground floor that creates a more flowing open plan feel whilst bringing a bigger kitchen with dinning island to the centre of the house.
