Note: Expanding foam will not be used as it is messy & rodents can easily gnaw through it.

Rats are mainly associated with drainage systems, therefore external manholes (if any) will be inspected to determine whether an interceptor valve is required.

The main treatment method is chemical-based (organic or synthetic)

This consists of treating all wall-floor junctions, wall-ceiling areas where the moths may rest, and the inside of the wardrobes with a residual insecticide solution.

Since the residual spray cannot necessarily reach everywhere, it is then backed up with a ULV (Ultra-Low Volume) fogging machine which will generate a fog that will reach into every corner & crevice, euthanising any adult moths, and larvae.

Note: Based on the client’s preferences and circumstances, the products we use can be organic or synthetic.

Note: The eggs and cocoons are impervious to pesticides. So, it is only once they become larvae and newly hatched adults that the pesticides will be able to act against them.

This is why we need to return in two-week intervals to carry out a follow-up visit to top up the residual effect of the chemical used. This returns the pesticides to peak strength for the required length of time needed to break the life cycle.

Chemical treatments may not be recommended for tenants suffering from certain chronic diseases, chemical allergies, pregnancy, skin conditions, or young infants. In such cases, we need to use an organic solution that is 100% natural.

Note: The tenants must vacate the property while the treatment is being carried out and cannot return for two hours post-treatment.

Note: Please refrain from vacuuming for two weeks after the treatment, as it would reduce the effectiveness of the active ingredient. We normally advise our clients to carry out a thorough round of cleaning the day before we arrive.

This ant control service is very thorough and non-intrusive. A gel-based insecticide (only effective against ants) is used which allows control of these pests without risk to the client or their pets.

The formulation used attracts ants with its unique bait matrix and features the exclusive Domino Effect, a delayed action kill whereby foraging ants bring the bait back to the nest and feed it to the queen(s) and larvae, killing the entire colonies.
