You know how you keep hearing everywhere that in order to love your job you need to turn your passion into your profession. To follow your heart’s desire and aim for the stars. With that in mind, I have decided to follow my heart and start doing something that I have really enjoyed since I can remember – creating and making. Therefore, I founded Anne Cree Yates. A small (one-person) company focusing on, but not limited to, making and selling handmade products, such as jewellery, drawings, pictures and paintings. Anything that can be made personal and special. Because life is about enjoying little things, and appreciation of here and now.

We often run away into the world of fantasy because the real world seems to be ugly, dirty and full of violence. That is why, to show that reality can be as enchanting and beautiful I have decided to start making little treasures, pieces which will help others with collecting only the best memories. Little beacons of hope if you will. Small patches of colour that help us notice the fact that life is good.

Sometimes, in tough times we need something that will help us go through that moment (because it is always a moment that never lasts forever), a talisman, or a charm, which brings us luck or reminds us of something waiting for us or that we are not alone in this world. A small push that keeps us going.
We remember things best when we can see, feel, touch, smell or hear something that makes a certain memory pop up in our minds. That is why you should surround yourself with things that remind you of good and beautiful moments in your life, and THAT is my mission.

All of my products are handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces. Made with love, devotion and hope that at some point they will become important elements in someone’s life.
