I am absolutely terrified of mice/rats. I found Anglo Scottish Pest control and these guys are truly exceptional. Highly professional, quick, do a thorough job and yet offer affordable rates to residential clients. Effective, efficient, prompt and highly experienced services for mice/rat infestation. I had earlier contacted another Edinburgh based pest control company on emergency call out. I was charged heavily, but their agent only placed glue boards and poison around the house. When I got back from holidays, I could not get rid of the mice that were stuck to the glue board and the follow up date given was longer than I had expected. So I had to immediately find someone to get rid of the mice stuck to glue board in my house. I found Anglo Scottish Pest Control. I phoned Gavin during holiday period on 2nd Jan and he got back to me within minutes. He was at home in less than 1 hour from the time of call. He inspected the entire property thoroughly, piping, inside the kitchen, bathroom etc.and got rid of the mice promptly. He then explained to me the mice evidences he was seeing. He performed a special treatment for the mice infestation. This was a very neat job done by a seriously experienced person. I felt satisfied and safer in my own home after I contacted them. Emailed over an enquiry and although it doesn't seem like pest control is a suitable option, Gavin emailed me to give him a ring and he gave me a number of different suggestions as to how to go about fixing my problem. Not many people would do that!

I called Gavin about suspected Bed Bugs in a flat I let out. I was on holiday in Spain at the time I got the call from my tenant so was completely reliant on Gavin to deal with the situation. His communication skills are excellent. He liaised with the tenant and arrived (free of charge) the following day to inspect. He advised us it was not in fact bed bugs and on our options.
