We played Aldenham GC in a Foxes match, had a great welcome.The course was well laid out and maintained to good standard, fairways were wide enough and mainly tree lined. Greens were quite fast and undulating.The 13th hole was a long raking par 5 some 621 yards long, we were told it used to be the longest par 5 in Europe quite a challenge.We had a post match meal steak pie potatoes and fresh vegetables followed by a delightful pudding.Overall a really great day, the only downside side we lost the match.I will definitely be returning, if you haven't played this course I highly recommend you put it on your list.Photo first tee More...

7th time I have held a golf day at Aldenham and the 4th Charity day. 17 golfers of varying abilities and all thoroughly enjoyed the day. The staff are great and so welcoming and big thanks to Karen in the office, The course was in excellent condition, the food and drink were excellent. Second visit in the last couple of months, very much like the course and it's layout - the only problem are the tee boxes, quite often the were positioned on ground that was not flat. Apart from that, a lovely course.

The main course needs more cosmetic work around the trees and just off the fairways. There are loads of brambles, high grass and fallen branches. Some of the trees that line the fairways need trimming back, but overall the course is in good condition and the greens are excellent and have a true run. More...

Prefered the 9 hole Berry Course to the 18 hole Church course and the 18 hole Church course itself was superb! That's saying something about how well the courses are maintained and refreshing that the 9 hole course is not neglected or inferior to the 18. I have played Aldenham many times over the years, but recently the green keeper's have got it just right. The greens are true and fast. The fairways are well contoured.
