Alastair was recommended to me by our youngest daughter. Over a ten week course he took me through several different groups of exercises, answered all my questions, and set me up with three different groups of HIIT exercises which are ideally suited to me. Since I started training twice a week with Alastair, I have lost 15 kg (that's about 2 stones). I used to struggle with knee and back pain when walking, but now I can keep up with Alastair on our power walks, and he has motived me to go to the gym on my own, 4 times a week, where I can practise improving on the programs he gives me.
We also do circuit training 1-1 sessions, and Alastair changes the routines so I don't get bored!
I couldn't recommend training with him more!

Running and Jogging Lessons

Alastair prepared and delivered a program of training for me, to build up my running ability from zero to a half marathon. He was very attentive to my specific aims and needs, and provided a tailored program of runs and circuit training. I found that he had genuine interest in and commitment to my fitness. Through his advice on stretching, he solved a critical tightness problem in my IT band. He was always flexible on the timing and length of sessions, and he gave regular analysis of my splits from my training runs. I help them strike the right balance between exercise and nutrition, with a real focus on integrating it into a busy schedule. I like to simplify things, and take all the stress and guesswork out of weight loss and getting lean.

Keywords for me are balance, patience, consistency and momentum. Balance your efforts on nutrition and exercise. Have patience, and don't bite off too much too soon, building a solid base of fitness before you get injured or burn out. Gradually build up skills, learn powerful exercises and routines by rote so that you can grab a kettlebell and perform an incredibly effective workout at home in your living room in 25 minutes without even blinking. This saves you time, makes you more willing to exercise regularly. That's the consistency and momentum, and that gets results!

Witnessing other people change their lives the same way I did, by embracing good nutrition and fitness. Helping others to become happy, proud and confident. Being lean will improve your life in untold ways. I love overseeing these changes in people, it's the best job in thw world...

My own poor physical condition in my 20's led me to take action regarding my physical health, but I had no idea how much better I would feel mentally as a result. I used to work in a very good job in finance, but I was so taken aback by the positive impact of health and fitness that I abandoned a very secure future, and decided to start this adventure!

Because I was not always the sporty type like many other trainers. I only truly became active in my mid-late twenties, and I understand that it is daunting to commit to such a dramatic lifestyle change. The point is, I understand the transformation process, unlike many trainers who were always the fittest, fastest, strongest.

I also have a unique take on working out, preferring not to use gyms, but create and learn interesting routines using interesting equipment at home and outdoors. I believe you can train cardio and strength all at once, whilst shredding fat and feeling amazing!

Yes. Providing the client can a webcam so that I can see them doing both standing and ground based exercises, and is willing to invest in ~£75 - £100 of home gym equipment, I can run comprehensive remote PT sessions.

Remote PT is the best option for those with vulnerabilities or concerns.

Covid forced my business online in 2020, and some clients haven't looked back. Zoom offers the perfect mode to train at home, and I specialise in empowering people with fast and effective home routines using minimal equipment.

High Intensity Circuit Training at home an incredibly effective way to get into the shape of your life.

So long as you have webcam, a decent internet connection and are willing to invest about £80 in some dumbbells, a kettlebell and a couple of other accessories, I can take you through live PT sessions over Zoom, and support you with pre recorded material as part of a comprehensive 10 week program.

I offer single trial sessions for you to try first, so you can experience online PT before committing to a batch of sessions.
