How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Would always advise a survey be carried out to check footings, walls and ceilings etc.
Customers may also need guidance if planning or building control is required.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Firstly the garage door needs to be removed and partially blocked up and maybe a window in part of it.
Electrics would need to be upgraded and extended if necessary.
Installation of plumbing and waste if needed.
The roof may need upgrading and insulated.
Either insulated block work erected internally to create a cavity and insulation or stud work can be erected with a membrane, air gap and insulation.

How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Head height is one thing to take into consideration as extra insulation is required in between roof trusses and also make sure that the timbers are substantial enough
