Andrew and his architectural team were great! Would recommend.

Employed this company for Structual drawings and I can safely say they’re the worst engineers I’ve ever used.

Initially the drawings were completely wrong and over engineered, suggesting I should knock down a large part of the house.

After a video call they told me they’d change them and sent me back the same drawings saying there’s nothing that could be done.

Do not use this company they have no idea what they’re doing and I am now actively seeking a refund.

They also delete reviews flagging them as fraudulent, Bark are now aware of this and the 1 star reviews they removed have been reposted.

Detailed site survey followed up with great architectural drawings with 3D models which gave me a clear picture of the extension I wanted to build. Thank you to Andrew and his team!

DO NOT USE for structural drawings. The plans they have given us are not fit for purpose and despite agreeing with us and promising to amend, a week later have sent the exact same drawings back to us. Worst part is you have you pay in full to release the drawings so you can’t check them before paying. I have seen reviews similar to this since instructing them (I had already paid deposit) which have since disappeared.

I've attempted to contact the company multiple times without any response. Despite Andrew's assurance of the company's legitimacy, the report lacks a registered structural engineer and doesn't provide essential certification details.
We have had various builders review the report and all have concerns in regards to report provided.

Andrew told me the company would also submit the building regulations, but I’ve not heard back from him at all.

I am hoping to hear back from the company and hope to have everything resolved. If not then unfortunately I have to take things further More...

An honest review. Please read.
Contacted this company and had a good pre-sales experience with Andrew but following that it was nothing but dire.
Structural Engineer arrived 45mins late on the day of the appt without letting us know. Having paid a 50% upfront deposit the drawings came back around 10 days later which I had expected. At this point I then had to pay the remaining 50% of fees before 1.dnb would release their drawings / calculations, which I duly did.
Our architect queried the drawings produced by 1.dnb and felt they were too over-engineered and subsequently sort a second opinion who agreed with the assessment. We challenged Andrew on this but by this point we had already paid up in full as this is their business model.
After a lot of correspondence back and forth 1.dnb decided to reimburse us just 10% back of the total fee. I thought the story would end there but it took around 5-6 weeks and several attempts to chase them for the small reimbursement.
1.dnb are very good at pre-sale and taking your money but dreadful post-sale and if you're owed monies back. Their business model is sly too in that all fees are paid up front before drawings / technical calculations released, which I have subsequently learnt is not industry standard. It does beg the question why they operate in such a way and sadly I learnt the hard way.
My strong advice is to go somewhere else and save your money. More...
