We stayed in this hotel for 1 night and wished we had stayed at home. The room was very dated and certainly not luxury accommodation as stated. There were holes in the walls, the carpet was dirty and stained and there was dampness on the ceiling and mould in the bathroom. We could have got much better room elsewhere for the money spent, not good value for money at all. More...

Great overnight stay and Take That/Westliffe tribute night. Meal at function was super, choice of starter and main. All served afficiently and food roasting and very tasty. If you are thinking of having your wedding at the Carlton Hotel we would highly recommend it!!! We got married here on 7th July and what an amazing day we both had. The wedding coordinator Amber couldn’t be any more helpful and attentive and she is a massive credit to the hotel. We arranged private dining at The Carlton Hotel to celebrate our Coral Wedding Anniversary. The events team were very helpful and helped us amend the menu with a suitable vegetarian option. We had our wedding here on Saturday the 5/2/22, everything from booking to planning of the big day was so smooth. Rebecca our wedding coordinator couldn't have done enough for us she really is amazing and am absolute god send nothing was too much bother before the wedding or on the day of the wedding. Rebecca had the venue looking beautiful and took me down to make sure I was happy she helped all the girls into their dresses and had the day running so smoothly all of our guests commented on how it was the best wedding they had been too and how relaxed the day was. thank you to Rebecca and all the staff on the day you were all Amazing. ❤️ More...

Fantastic Christmas party night at the Carlton Hotel in Prestwick. The staff were so friendly and professional and super efficient. Although it was a busy evening, they all seemed so relaxed and in complete control (puts guests at ease). The meal was delicious with a varied choice to suit everyone and it’s great when your whole table gets served at the same time to eat together, not always the case in other places. The function suite looked so Christmassy, very tastefully decorated and really beautiful. The band were phenomenal, what a fantastic group and had everyone up dancing all night and really entertaining. For our first Christmas night out back, we were over the moon. As a party of 16, whom attended “ Music through the Decades” on Sat 13th, Every1 states it was the bestest night we have had as a party of NHS Workers.
