Ercle are design lead architects based in Plymouth and serving Devon and Cornwall. We work predominantly in housing. We undertake work from small house extensions up to large housing estates. We work in Revit. This allows us to create 3D drawings as a standard. This means when you work with us from the very early concept stage the project will be easily understood. We are also able to create virtual reality tours of our projects. We are a full service RIBA registered practice.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Having worked for years for both small and large practices around the South West I found that most practices did an OK job but that they often didn't deliver a truly great service. Having learned from each practice I worked for I have taken the best bits to create a truly bespoke service. Our clients benefit from a big practice capability with a small practice personal service

Why should our clients choose you?

Client should choose us because we are a personable group of architects who work very hard to get the best solution from each project. You will work with your architect for a minimum of 6 months and most likely up to a year. As a result it needs to be someone you can get on with and someone you think can get the job done. We are good at listening and we like to hope we are great at delivering what the client wants and not just the solution we thing is right. We stick to budgets and we make sure that we will be able to realise a project. We don't just like drawing projects - we like to build them and see a happy client at the end.

What do you love most about your job?

Architects are some of the luckiest people in the world. We get to work with our clients to solve complex problems and to realise solutions to building projects. Having worked out the solution we then get to build out our drawings. Creating permanent structures from what was in our imagination. There is a huge ' I did that factor' to this job. It is also great fun taking my kids around built projects.
