Phil and his team are second to none. They came in, kept me informed in the processes and are making my ideas come to life. I feel so comfortable and safe knowing my garden works are in their hands. They have kept the site ridiculously clean, are punctual and courteous. Phil has consulted others to my dream idea, and has made it all come to fruition, with ease. We will be forever grateful for our transformation and really believe we had the best! Thanks all! More...

How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Firstly, check the structural integrity of the garage and whether it is suitable for the proposed works.
To have this incorporated into your property it would then need to be altered so that it conforms to current building regulations.
Foundations may need to be exposed to check on there depths and construction to ensure that they are capable of withstanding additional loadings etc
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Check to see if the conversion falls into requiring Planning Permission
Expose and inspect foundations on there suitability.
Design floor plan to ensure the layout fits once new walls and insulation have been installed.
Plan service routes into the garage.
Check if the floor has a damp proof membrane.
Check Roof & Joist condition
Once all of the above is confirmed and accepted then the process would be as follows
Alter the existing structure to the design, creating/removing new window and door apparatures
Fit windows and doors
Lay new Damp proof Membrane and raise floor (if required)
1st fix - Electric, Plumbing and Carpentry
Plaster
2nd fix - Electric, Plumbing and Carpentry
Painting and finishes
How long have you been in business?
We have been self employed for 13 years, our company went limited in January 2017.
What guarantee does your work come with?
Construction works are normally covered through designs, we offer guarantees for paving and surfacing ranging from 2-5 years.
What do you love most about your job?
Everyday is different, sometimes we get a drawing and we have to recreate that image in the reality which is extremely satisfying, I love advising clients and giving different perspectives in how they can utilise the spaces they have in the best way possible.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Myself, brother and sister all worked for my fathers Fencing & Landscaping business as childeren and early teens. Due to health reasons my father retired and we decided to start a business working together with our mother to. We all have the same morals and ethos!
Why should our clients choose you?
We have built a reputation on our high standards of work, time keeping and communication.
We do not ask for payments upfront, Unless for bespoke items (such as swimming pools!) Depending on the size of the project we would either charge on completion or stage payments during the works.
Which gives the client peace of mind
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We can offer our customers teams meetings/video calls to minimise contact, we also operate the 2m rule, however there is the necessity of seeing the project for measurements, accessibility and logistics, and also maintaining good relations with the clients.
Retaining Walls and Structures
A retaining wall is a structure that holds or retains soil behind it. There are many types of materials that can be used to create retaining walls like concrete blocks, poured concrete, treated timbers, rocks or boulders. Some are easy to use, others have a shorter life span, but all can retain soil.
Fencing and Gates
From Automated Gates and Perimeter Security Systems to Timber and Concrete types. Our services cover Domestic, Commercial and Agricultural.
Paving and Surfacing
There is a vast range of styles when it comes to choosing the surfacing to finishing the outside of your property. Different materials are used to address individual site requirements, our staff will discuss the options with you and can offer advice regarding the pros and cons of each product.
Drainage
There are 2 main types of drainage systems, Foul systems serves removing waste water from your property.
This is normally connected to a mains sewer, but in some cases this is not feasible and septic tanks are used to catch and store the waste water and be emptied when required.
Storm systems remove the surface water from your property, current building regulations insist that this water is disposed from within the grounds of your property, as opposed to connecting to the mains sewers.
New Build and Extensions
Whether its a new residential development, an extension to enhance/increase your current property or even garden rooms/gyms.
We can discuss and advise on permitted development rules and designs.
Structural Alterations
Whether its creating a new window or doorway to removing walls and creating open plan spaces, we can offer the structural calculations for designing the supports required for your project.
