The Winter Glow is superb, the only slight criticism would be the make-shift café still charging full prices for tea/coffee in small paper cups, there were also huge queues & it was difficult to get a seat (they shut the main café because they do dinners on instead). I think they need to address how they do this next year. More...

Beautiful gardens. RHS plants good value for money compared with garden centres and many unusual varieties available.

I love going here as I know that pretty much everywhere here is wheelchair or mobility scooter accessable. Has great toilet facilities. The restaurant has different specials on everytime we go. The food is really lovely and the cake is to die for! The gardens themselves are beautiful and so well cared for and looked after. There's lots for kids to do as well. There are lots of arts and craft events put on, unfortunately these are usually out of my price range which is disappointing as there is a lot of variety. They sell lots of beautiful plants that are very well cared for and really healthy. I just love going here because the disabled access is so good, I don't have to worry about anything. I can also get my carer in for free which makes it cheaper so I can go more often. They also hire out Tramper mobility scooters so anyone who can't walk very far can enjoy all the gardens too. You just gave to ring up and book one beforehand. It takes 10 minutes to sign up the nationwide country mobility scheme then a little training course and you're good to go. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. More...

Beautiful gardens with a fair variety of different design styles and planting. Main cafe was top notch with a wide selection of food, all reasonably priced. Staff and volunteers were all helpful and friendly. We spent about half a day here, enjoyed it all. There were lots of seats dotted throughout the gardens often in shady places, perfect for a hot day. Love this place we are in our 2nd year of membership and bring our grandchildren here all the time. My only criticism would be food choices although very nice not really child friendly at hot food counter and also the queueing for hot drinks after you have your hot food getting cold whilst you wait is a poor system. The food is lovely though .
