What do you love most about your job?
For many businesses, advertising is one of those things they either do reluctantly or not at all. This is mainly because they have had a bad experience with it in the past - normally when the media they chose took as much money from them as possible and gave a very poor service which not surprisingly resulted in a poor response.
With over 25 years experience in local media, I have the experience to know what is likely to work for you. I also know that the most important person in the whole process is the client and as such treat you with the respect you deserve.
I know traditional advertising works, and I like being able to show clients this.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked in local media for the length of time I did, I realised that the customer was the most important link in the process. Far too many of the media put making money out of advertisers as their number one priority. This is invariably leaves customer service as a very poor second, if you were lucky. All this leads to a fairly poor working relationship between the media and the advertiser.
I knew that the best way for me to offer the type of service I wanted to meant I needed to be independent of the media owners. This meant I could spend the appropriate time with each client and actually build up a strong working relationship with them so that they trust me and my judgement.
This is why I set up CG Advertising.

Time - I talk to you and then I contact all the media meaning you only have the conversation once.
Hassle - dealing with different media can be very frustrating as each has it's own peculiarities and if you don't know these it is very easy to be 'pushed' into buying something you don't actually need. I am aware of how most media work and as such can see through some of the jargon used.
Money - by knowing what is the most appropriate media to use, I can help prevent you buying things that are not going to actually help your business.

I can work remotely from a clients premises. All I need is a full brief of the clients requirements and I can then put together a proposal and once approved a completely booked advertising plan.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
As I can work remotely, the pandemic hasn't really effected how I work with clients.
Traditional Advertising
I book and buy media campaigns for businesses. These include commercial radio, billboards, bus, all forms of print and TV advertising.
I also work with trusted colleagues to help business with their on-line advertising, including website design and build, aswell as company branding and graphic design.
