About

It's all about relationships - primarily the relationship you have with yourself and how this impacts the relationships with others and the world. Sometimes these relationships become ruptured, and if not repaired, psychological disturbances may result.

Therapist

Byron is a wonderful therapist! He really let’s you talk for as long as you want and that shows how much of a great listener he is.

He also asks the right questions, which in return makes the solving problem process a lot easier.

I definitely discovered more about myself in 2 weeks, than I did in a few years by myself!

100% recommended him!!!

Byron has been helping me with an important issue for the last few months. He prepares every session and adapts his work to my needs. Byron is very patience and warm. He is very professional. I felt listened to; he has great knowledge and helped me to understand the problems I had for a long time.
I love having online meetings, I feel very comfortable, and I find myself less stress when talking about my problems.
We are trying the new programme, and we had one session, and I have already noticed a few changes on myself . I am very excited to see how this "Growth Mindset" programme is going to help me with my issues.
Thank you Byron :)

Working with Byron has been great. I really look forward to our coaching sessions. He is well prepared and I feel challenged each time. I learn a lot of new knowledge in our sessions as well as gaining deeper insight to my own thought processes and abilities. Byron is always very smiley and patient and I feel genuinely supported by him. Since starting coaching with him I have made progress towards my goals and am very hopeful that with his continuous support I will fulfil them. More...

Byron was extremely clear in his communication. And the way he informed me of what to expect over the course of the sessions, and the aims from those sessions, enabled me to see how the change I am looking for will be achieved.
Also, the guidance and insights he enabled me to see from the first session only bodes well for my expectation of how the rest of the sessions will go, in helping me to achieve what I want.
Highly recommended.

Thanks for your review Wilford. It's good having an opportunity to work with you. You're right - the sessions we've had are an indication of the great work we're going to do together. Warm regards, Byron

I was looking to get some help on resolving a deep-seated issue. When I started working with Byron, I felt immediately at ease by his gentle and supportive nature. He helped me work through this issue, which naturally led to unveiling other issues. This resulted in huge shifts in my thinking and emotional well-being. He did this in a way that empowered me to become more aware of internal processes enabling me to resolve any issues that may come up in the future myself.

This work was an invaluable personal investment.

Hi Hilary, thanks for your review, I'm glad you found the work we did together that helpful. In fairness though, it was as successful largely due to the effort you made - I merely introduced the framework and facilitated the process. All the best, Byron

Q&As

Simply put, I love helping people. A vital component in mutual development and healing is the authentic connection that's shared between people.

I worked as an admin officer for a local authority for over 20 years. After being interested in philosophy and psychology since 1991, I realised I would be more fulfilled if I had a career I was more passionate about - a career that involved assisting people more directly and with impact.

I'm an experienced online and telephone counsellor/coach. Before our work begins, I can send you a form where you can indicate what style of therapy or coaching you would like to receive. This increases the chances of compatibility. I have studied a vast array of issues so that I can be as helpful as possible. I use a pluralistic approach, which enables me to be flexible and adapt the work I do to ensure it's suitable and effective in resolving issues in the quickest, safest most ethical way possible. My way of working invites review at any time, so if anything is not working, please feedback so that the treatment plan can be quickly adapted. In terms of the support I will offer, whether you want to be challenged or just need a listening ear or interpretations, I will meet people where they are and walk alongside them in an empathetic and supportive way.

I'm a member of BACP, an accredited member of the National Counselling Society and a registrant member of the National Hypnotherapy Society. I'm also a qualified NLP Life Coach and a Mindset Coach. The coaching courses I graduated from are accredited by the International Coaching Federation, which is commonly regarded as the most reputable coaching professional organisation in the world.
