As a performer I can sing across genres.
My background is on the opera stage and as an events singer. I cross over into music theatre, pop and prog rock and celtic music.

I wanted to return to singing in a choir after 20 years. Jane has managed to allow me to find the voice I didn’t know I had.
Her incredibly patient & friendly teaching style has been a joy and I am now able to continue the exercises between lessons which I hope to continue for some time.

Vocal and performance technique.
Helping you find your optimum voice and singing style through technique, aural training for better intonation ( pitch) articulation and tone. Increasing your confidence by using technique to support your style of singing . Exploring other genres and your vocal capabilities . Helping you build a stronger voice for endurance and to guard against vocal strain as a speaker and / or singer .
Piano for beginners
I develop initial skills as a patient teacher .
For younger beginners I have a background of teaching early years, also Key stage 1 and 2 as a fully qualified primary school teacher and music specialist.
For adult beginers I use different genres of initial music and direct the careful use of learning apps between lessons. I customise repertoire and content to each pupil while developing the necessary building blocks and technique.
