We chose the Wrag Barn as our wedding reception venue and are so glad we did - the staff were so friendly and considerate, helping us plan all the logistics but always putting us and our wishes first. The day itself went so smoothly, with all the food being delicious, everything happening just as we expected, and the staff being so professional and kind to all our guests. We had our wedding reception at the Wrag Barn a week ago today. It was an absolutely wonderful day and we are so grateful to all at the Wrag barn who contributed to it. The wild flowers in the meadow were a perfect backdrop for our photos, we had many comments about how lovely the food was from our guests (particularly those that were gluten/dairy free and had an alternative menu option), and all the staff were extremely accommodating to all my ideas and desires. We had our wedding party at Wrag Barn this weekend. Everything from our initial enquiry through to the morning after the party was fabulous. Ben and the team really looked after us. Everyone commented that the food was delicious (we had the barbecue menu) and the vegetarians and gluten free diners were also well catered for. New Dimensions Disco, the Wrag Barn disco crew, communicated well before the date and kept the dance floor filled Al evening.The chefs, bar and waiting staff were all friendly and attentive, and the drinks were reasonably priced.All in all, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wrag Barn as a party venue, and are looking forward to attending one of their tribute nights. We recently held our wedding at Wrag Barn and couldn’t be happier with our choice! Ben and the staff were nothing short of amazing throughout the process and we always felt confident everything would be handled as perfectly as it was on the day! I have found the club has a fun group of people to spend time with, while also being a great place to develop one’s game. The teaching staff are top rate, management efficient and helpful and the course enough of a challenge to keep my interest . The seniors are very active, welcoming and enjoy a great camaraderie, while being competitive enough. Whether you are just a social golfer or keen to improve your game this is a good place to do it.
