Stayed in Curlews Nest, perfect for just the two of us. Spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Lovely gardens, the highlight of which was sitting next to the millpond with a chilled drink and watching the baby ducks at play. Perfect.

Very nice place to stay for the weekend. As the name implies, this place is tucked away, at the bottom of a little valley. Very quiet, secluded. But easy to go places from. Quaint apartments and cottages. Good decor and owners are lovely. Great for a quiet getaway or if you have a big group then I imagine it's great for a birthday weekend in summer having a bbq in the beautiful garden's.

The location of theses self contained cottages is truly tranquil. Set in the most beautiful of well maintained grounds Wolfen Mill is truly a tiny piece of your own paradise. We stayed for the weekend (Friday-Sunday) our cottage was beautiful, with a well equipped kitchen, big bathroom and large bed. The cottage it's self was spotless and finished to a high standard. The toiletries left out where of good quality, a hairdryer neatly placed below a mirror with its own plug socket and over mirror lighting was well thought out. The kitchen was very well stocked, cleaning products and tea towels a plenty. The shared areas for use included a beautiful court yard with tables and chairs, a beautiful maintained garden area again with seating and a decked area over looking a beautiful pond with both indoor and outdoor seating gave the feeling of real luxury. We had a picnic in the garden one day and watched the sun set behind the hills on the decked area over looking the pond another day and never bumped into anyone, it was like our own private house for the weekend. I presume in high season the shared areas would get busy however there is plenty of seating to accommodate lots of guests at one time. The local village we found lovely, friendly people in both pubs we visited and the Sun Inn land lady was full of character and bubblyness making our visit there lovely. She also spoke highly of the beautiful cottages at Wolfen Mill. The key code system was fantastic and the directions on the email perfect, we had no problem finding the cottages, the key code system meant we never had to remember to take a room key out with us either which was great. Our only negative would be that the signal on our bedroom TV was limited ( lounge TV absolutely perfect) which after a long day out exploring and all you want is a cup of tea in bed with a bit of TV did prove frustrating when it kept freezing, however we can catch up on TV when we are home. Overall we would highly recommend Wolfen Mill and came here ourself following a recommendation from friends. We will visit again. More...

I stayed here with my girlfriend from Monday 10th April 2017 until Thursday. 13th April. It was amazing. Secluded. Peaceful. The apartment was very comfortable. ..it felt like home after 2 nights. I was upset to leave but I know I will be visiting again soon. It's amazing to know we have such beautiful villages in our green and pleasant land. Whilst staying there we did a short walk,1.25 miles, and the view was amazing. We also visited Chipping which was just over 5 minutes drive from where we stayed. So beautiful. Beautiful location where you can just sit and relax and listen to the water in the stream rush by. The cottages are well maintained and have everything you could need. They have a well presented kitchen and bathrooms. The beds are comfortable and the whole place is just relaxing. I have spent a lot of time sat on the decking in the garden next to the water. Our 2nd night out of a three night break. What can I say, wow! It is a paradise. Wolfen Mill is a gem in a little valley in chipping. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you need. Wolfen Mill is a stunning oasis of tranquillity. I have come here with my husband and dog and feel we have the whole place to ourselves. The courtyard is fantastic, just outside our door and the decking upstairs to the pond is breathtaking. We have walked to the village and eaten in both the sun Inn and Tillotsons. We photographed at Wolfen Mill in May last year and it was just the perfect wedding venue. With it's laid back rustic wedding style setting, lush grounds with they're GORGEOUS floral blooms, it was a dream for us and our couple. We go to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have our senses put in order...Wolfen Mill did that and more for me and my husband Ramit. . We had a lovely time at your property.
