A month out of warranty my dishwasher began to make a loud and rather alarming clunking sound. The Miele engineer wanted a staggering £379. 20 to come out and fix it! I called Tony who came out to me the very next morning. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it for £79. I'm happy! A really nice man with an interesting story to tell. Called company to fix my broken washing machine that turned out not to be broken and just needed a few coins and items removing from the filter. Tony came at short notice, identified the problem quickly, sorted it out, showed me what to do next time, and only charged the call-out fee. He could have pretended the problem was worse than it was and charged me a lot more. I was so impressed I asked him to look at a long standing issue with dripping water outside the front of our large shared-ownership house. Again, he identified the problem quickly, resolved the issue with an £18 part and stopped what had been a headache to get resolved and was causing damp and mildew down the front of the house.
