Very friendly family-owned hotel. Comfortable, clean rooms, good breakfast. Had dinner one night, also good. Great location - Victoria Station (rail and Tube) is 10 mins away.

Stayed here 5 days. Rooms were clean, and had tall ceilings providing a very spacious feel. Linens and beds were comfortable. Water closet had recently been remodeled and had new tiles and fixtures. Hot water on demand. The breakfast was delicious they have fruit, rolls, granola, etc. and they cook you eggs, sausage, etc. fresh when you order it. They have a small bar. The breakfast cook and bar tender Jakub is very personable and a good guy to hold a conversation with. Overall I liked this place and would go back again. More...

I absolutely loved my stay here. Booked last minute without any research but never regretted a minute. A bit of a walk to the tube but it's in a fabulous neighborhood so it's an enjoyable walk. Family owned and they are very accommodating, you can tell they enjoy running the hotel. Absolutely loved the on site restaurant. Food is sensational and the chef and all the staff are wonderful. It's an old property so prepare yourself to hear some creaks and not expect things at a modern hotel but it is 100% comfy and cozy. I would definitely stay here again. More...

Stayed here a year ago and I still remember Windermere as a nice and cozy hotel that I want to come back to.
It is walking distance from Victoria station and the neighborhood is quiet.
I recommend the brassiere in the basement when you’re tired after a long day walking around in London.
I was with my daughter in London in a twin bedroom and asked if there is a family room if we came back another time with the whole family. The hotel owner gave us a tour and showed me the very nice rooms with connecting doors between on top floor.
Hopefully we will book at Windermere for our next visit.

Great proximity with easy 5-10min talk to the tube and restaurants as well as other locations. Affordable, well take care of rooms and great bathrooms. Breakfast was wonderful and included on my stay. Very helpful staff for any issues and 24hr desk. Would stay again! Oh and great fast wifi!!! More...

We stayed last March and had a fantastic experience. I particularly enjoyed the small cozy feeling. Yes, the rooms are small (especially the shower), but we are out sightseeing the whole day and only stay in the room to sleep. The breakfast was a great start to the day and the ladies did everything to accommodate our taste. The location is wonderful and within walking distance to Victoria station. Felt totally safe in the evening. I felt that all the staff was invested in our having the best possible stay. Highly recommended. More...
