I stayed for one night and had a meal and drinks in the bar which was an enjoyable experience . It was fantastic value , privately owned, friendly and great value . The pub serves a great selection of real ale and a good selection of wine. The food menu is nice and my steak was excellent . I noted that their official food hygiene score is 5 out of 5 . Very convenient location for me, I had a car, there was good parking. The room was lovely and clean and, well stocked. They are a very friendly place, and the included breakfast is just what you need in the morning. Very happy and coming back!

This hotel/ BB is so convenient for the town of Seaford and the railway station. Also very near the beach(pebbles). It is possible to have dinner in the bar. A very good breakfast is provided. Needed a overnight stop near to the ferry port. This location came up and for the money gave great value. The room was clean and tidy and very big. Nice touches as tea, coffee plus bottled mineral water. The pub below serves good food as was the breakfast. My only regret I didn’t book on my return journey. More...

I stayed here for a night, rooms really clean and fresh, really comfy bed, watched the football in the bar and although didn’t know anyone it was such a friendly atmosphere, the manager here goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome.

Came here for a dinner alone, had a table reserved,service was exemplar. Had the tuna superfood salad, fresh and tasty. Followed by a banana split and homemade donuts which were incredibly tasty, light fluffy and non-greasy. Great dining experience.

I booked here not expecting much in view of the price. I was very pleasantly surprised by a very warm welcome. Everyone was very helpful the room while small was nicely furnished and decorated and had an en suite Shower and toilet. the bed was very comfortable. ||||The breakfast, which is included in the price is magnificent and was too much for me. On the second morning I asked for smaller portions which suited me better.||||I frequently visited friends in Seaford and have already booked to return in two weeks time/ I will use this hotel every time in the future. Stayed there all of last week whilst exploring around Brighton and Eastbourne including dong some good coastal walks. The room was clean, staff were friendly and always on hand if you needed any help, the breakfasts were tasty and set me up for each day and the bar was good for evening meals and watching football, meaning that I did not need to go out elsewhere for a meal every night. The hotel is ideally located for buses to Brighton and Eastbourne (normally every 10 minutes during the daytime on weekdays and every 15 minutes on Sundays). They have a stand at the front guest entrance which has leaflets on local places of interest. One small hint: the tap water in the rooms needs to be boiled before drinking. They provide you with a glass bottle of water every day to make up for this. ||||My only criticisms are that I was unable to flush the toilet in my room due to drainage problems and on Sunday night whilst I was watching the Brazil match in the sports bar there were a couple sat behind me who were having a domestic argument and using foul language. I believe this incident was dealt with swiftly and would perhaps like to suggest that the hotel tightens up its policy on foul language. Maybe a three strikes and you're out rule would sort this out properly. There were some workers on site sorting out the drainage problems on Thursday. I paid £40 per night for a single room which I thought was very good value.||||Dogs are allowed in the bar areas. Not sure about in the rooms though so perhaps it might be worth enquiring about this when booking. More...
