Lovely pub in a nice setting. Beer was good, kept and served well. Food was good quality but very lacking in portion size, fish and chips was nowhere near enough to fill up an adult and at the price I would have expected more.

Really really lovely staff. Gorgeous garden facilities. I had the leek and tarragon risotto and finished with the beautiful honey and ginger cheesecake. So yummy

Lovely country pub a few minutes' drive from Salisbury. Good selection of ales & lagers, and an extensive wine list. Called in on a Sunday for a drink and the roasts looked fantastic. There are several regular themed nights (pies, steaks, and so on) with frequent interesting events. There's also a circular walk around the local countryside. Well worth a visit. More...

The meal I had truely knocked me for 6 and was one of the best plates of food I have had in a long time. It honestly could have been served in a michelin stared restaurant it was that good. I will definately be going back.

This is a lovely pub, the owners are friendly, they do lots of speciality evenings. Food is excellent. They are also doing the Six Nations and are open all day on a Saturday, unusual for a village pub.

We walk from Salisbury to Pitton via the Clarendon walkAnd were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table. The service was prompt and informed. We had roast beef from the rib which was the most tender I have ever eaten and this was served with a generous vegetable selection which included red cabbage and cauliflower cheese.
