The Rosslea Hall Hotel

I stayed for 5 nights recently and found the staff very helpful, the food good and the ambience calm and relaxing. Better signage at the end of the drive would be helpful: arriving in the dark was a challenge. Plenty of parking and a large comfy bedroom with a wet-room style bathroom made it easy for me to manage my disability at the hotel. Price for B&B was very reasonable too. We held our wedding here on 26th October. The only word I can think of to describe the entire experience is OUTSTANDING! !!||||From first booking right through to the day Lynn was phenomenal, and on the actual day both Lynn and Mark were present, I cannot praise these two highly enough, they were both fabulous, along with the entire team. I have to give a special mention to Abbie (who helped bustle my dress in the evening) and Kevin on reception the next morning.||||Myself, two of my bridesmaids and my Mum stayed at the hotel the night before it was amazing, nothing was too much trouble, the rooms were great sizes and very comfortable.||||On the night of the wedding my new husband and I had use of the bridal suite, (I used this to get dressed on the morning of the wedding as well). This room is HUGE!!! ||||Breakfast on both days was great, lovely hot food cooked to order, and fantastic service as well.||||I've lost count of the number of compliments I've received about the wedding meal as well. So a massive THANK YOU to the Chef and his/her team responsible for that, the food was delicious!!!!||||If you're thinking of booking your wedding here, booking a stay, or even just popping in for a meal, go for it, you will not be disappointed!!! What can I say. I don't think there are any words that could do justice to this phenomenal wedding venue. We were married here yesterday and from first meeting Lynn and booking right through to the day everything was perfect. The entire team were amazing. I would highly recommend the Rosslea as a wedding venue and as a place to stay. Mark and Lynn were fabulous on the day and you could tell that they genuinely want everything to be perfect for their couples. This hotel comes highly recommended. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening food was very tasty and breakfast was freshly cooked to order! this is an odd, 30 room hotel that lives off weddings etc so looked better that it transpired. My wife travels in a powered wheelchair so our room (No2) was good as it was large with good sized roll in shower room & had a perching stool, but no toilet raiser. Very odd and unhelpful sink design. Big comfortable bed. Quiet except for the tolling of the church bell on the 1/4 hour.||Food indifferent. Good for a one night but Helensburgh we enjoyed. More...

Graham and I celebrated our wedding here at the weekend and it was amazing. I could not find a fault with anything! The whole day was exceptional the organisation, ceremony, food , staff and especially Mark and Lynn. They could not have done any more - the day was perfect totally perfect. Thank you sooo much. I cannot recommend them highly enough 10 out of 5 for us. It was an incredible day and our guests have not stopped raving about it. Booked 3 nights B&B and opted for a superior room, we were given room 12 on arrival and after mentioning that we felt it wasn’t, in our opinion a superior room were moved to room 11, which was much better. |The breakfast on the 1st morning (Sunday) was a buffet style, really very good.... but on the Monday and Tuesday it had changed to table service, it was still good but preferred the buffet laid on on the Sunday.|The staff are all very friendly and made us feel very welcome.
