Very friendly pub at the end of Coverack. Great selection of Cornish beers and gins. The Sunday carvery is superb and booking is recommended. Also has a very good food menu with a large selection of fish dishes. Great selection of desserts as well. Price wise, the carvery for three with drinks was £47, great value. More...

We had walked the coast path from Helford Passage and arrived at The Paris late on a hot sunny afternoon. The location is perfect, by the small harbour with sea views from all the rooms. The room was cosy and clean. The beer was good as was the food. The Paris is basic but good all round. I wouldn't recommend the scrambled eggs at breakfast though unless you like them cooked to death. More...

Fantastic welcome from Meg. Nice room, small shower room but adequate. Lovely views. Wonderful food and service both at dinner and breakfast. All staff were friendly and cheerful, a real credit to the place. As with all old buildings, it has a certain character. If you keep this in mind you will have an enjoyable stay. More...

Just returned from a lovely holiday in Coverack- and whilst there took advantage of eating at The Paris, which was within walking distance . I have several food allergies and the Staff were excellent! The kitchen, despite it being a busy night with most tables taken, took time to prepare my food and that of my family, completely separately , to ensure I didn't have an anaphylactic reaction... and when the food came - the best mussels ever !! brilliant, would highly recommend. See you again next year ;-) More...

When we go to Cornwall we make every effort to eat locally caught seafood. This week’s prize goes to the Paris pub for a piece of brilliantly white juicy and ‘sweet’ haddock probably caught that morning. The chips and peas were just standard pub fare but the haddock took the prize. I had to pace myself to eat it slowly. More...

Revisiting the beautiful village setting of many happy summer holidays, we used The Paris most days for drinks and twice for food. I found my food choices to be wonderful (locally sourced fish and lobster from the bay outside the window) and good value for money. My husband was a little disappointed with his portion of ribs because there weren’t many, but they were delicious. My son was outraged that there was only one sausage on the children’s meal, but again, it was an excellent sausage and they are his favourite thing so that’s probably why he was put out! The bar and waiting staff were lovely and friendly and the general atmosphere was great. In the bar, there is a great selection of local gins, which I took it upon myself to sample (though I personally prefer lime over lemon, which wasn’t always available) and the Rattler did the trick for my husband. We are returning to Coverack next summer and will definitely frequent The Paris again. More...
